NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
If Bailey Smith does win it, it will accelerate the rate of the Brownlow’s slide down the respect ladder at the speed of light.

At first I thought don’t be ridiculous! But nothing surprises anymore in all things AFL

Just an observation: I reckon Tom Hawkins is modelling his commentary style on Jack Riewoldt. Same inflection, cadence etc. except with Riewoldt it’s natural, with Hawkins it’s forced. I said it was an observation, I never said it was an interesting observation 😜

Whoa, Thanks. You just reminded me to take the washing off the line 😅

NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
The fact that we’re discussing a possible suspension that hinges on the outcome of another game (tomorrow night), tells you how corrupt the MRO system is.

I thought his right arm was released before he hit the ground but not in time for him to pull it free therefore he landed on it as though it was pinned.

Careful now, Adonski. You may well end up with egg on your face. And not just egg… but MASSIVE egg. Or maybe that just applies to me 🤔 Hashtag easy pickins

Steven May's Future
Apparently he wasn’t the only one whose meeting was delayed. But also, it’s not that clear cut… some players (Fritta for example) were told on day one of exit meetings they’re a required player (along with other definitive statements) and that was it. I’m guessing not all exits were so cut and dried.
-
Steven May's Future
Idk why his was delayed. I just know that it was delayed and that it took place yesterday morning.

Steven May's Future
Some of the players were told a while ago that their exit meetings were being delayed, so you’d think that’d give those players an uncomfortable feeling. Maybe it did with some, clearly not so with Maysie. The person who accidentally leaked it is definitely NOT someone who’s leaked before, nor are they someone who would leak deliberately.

Steven May's Future
He’s understandably disheartened and disappointed about the news he received at the exit meeting. But he’s furious about how it was made public before he even knew.

Welcome to Demonland: Shane McAdam
He certainly was told this and that added to his already growing confidence. To say he was unfit at the time is simply incorrect. When he went down at the intra-club match in February he was the fittest and most confident he’d ever been in his career. Fortunately his determination and confidence haven’t wavered whatsoever. In fact, he’s even more determined now.

Steven May's Future
He actually wasn’t told in August. His exit meeting was yesterday morning, and that’s when he was told. The news was leaked (accidentally) late on Wednesday evening not directly to Tom Morris but to “the wrong people” and it’s made its way to Morris yesterday morning BEFORE Maysie was told. Not gonna say who accidentally leaked it because as far as Maysie’s concerned, it was genuinely an accident, so it doesn’t matter who it was because there was no intent of malice. This is what I’ve been told by a close mate of Maysie’s who is also a close mate of mine. This is by no means directed at you, Bing. Those at whom it IS directed know exactly who they are: If you don’t believe it… fine, but you really don’t need to come on here waving your measuring tapes around. Or, if you have no self-control (along with your inherent nastiness and personal shortcomings) go right ahead, make the smart-arze comments. This time Ima let ‘em go through to keeper, just like Binman said I should.

AFL Emotional Baggage Index
This is true. For mine, during the dark years, watching us cop thumping after thumping was god-awful, but I never felt let down because my expectations were super low. Currently, it’s emotionally harder because of the relatively recent success.

AFL Emotional Baggage Index
It’s easily missed but there’s actually a formula applied… I still can’t work it out though 😅 Also, I don’t see how two teams who have only existed for 13-14 years can even be on this ladder, let alone not have the lowest EBI

Oh wow, I see the regular [censored] are at it again. MASSIVE egg boy with his smart-arze comments, and his goons applauding said smart-arze comments. Gutless wonders. @binman I’m trying so hard to take your advice but the bastards keep wearing me down. It’s exhausting. Anyways, Maysie and I share a mutual friend. This friend is very close to Maysie. This afternoon he told me Maysie is furious because the result of his exit meeting became public knowledge and he wasn’t expecting it. Maysie said it was leaked. That’s what happened. That’s all I know. I shouldn’t have to explain it in detail, but here we are. Again, I feel I have to justify my comments. And again, if it wasn’t for some truly beautiful souls on here I’d ditch this forum in a [censored] heartbeat.

Definitely wasn’t Maysie. One would hope it wasn’t his manager.

If that was the case, wouldn’t Maysie know to expect it? Because he certainly didn’t expect it.
