  2. He is! He’s a hoot!
  3. We lost to the Hawks but that didn’t change anything in terms of entertainment. The guys are so funny, even during a loss.
  4. The best commentary EVER! I listened to this for a couple of quarters at the Hawks match and it’s hilarious. They referred to Hawthorn as “the other mob” and barely mentioned any of their players’ names. They are beautifully biased. However, they still call the game adequately.

Hey BBP, just wanted to point out that our opponent on that day was Carlton… YET ANOTHER EXCUSE TO WATCH THIS!
  6. Hard to detail any of the above from behind locked gates and when most of the drills are done on the other side of the ground. Here’s an idea though: howsabout YOU get your caboose down to Casey and report back here on specifics of the drills in question, focus, personnel, directions, equipment used, pedagogies, close skill sequence, outcomes, etc. 👍🏽

Dwayne Russell: “GINNIVAN! Ya gotta love him… even if you hate him.” 😂
  8. Speaking of Dees in ads, I saw Tayla Harris recently at Gosch’s and in my best Tay voice I said, “Nice jumper… and I love your braids!” She cringed hard and said, “Oh my god, it’s about time Fox retired that [censored] ad.” She said she hates how it pops up every time she’s watching the footy. Yes, she got a brand new phone out of the deal but says that she wouldn’t have done it had she known she’d have to see the ad ‘til the day she dies 😂 PS: she didn’t get the jumper but she wouldn’t have worn it anyways. Smart choice.
  9. At halftime at our Swans match some friends and I were talking to a little Dees boy who happened to have a speech impediment. He was animatedly telling us something about the Swans that he didn’t like. Just when we were about to concede that we couldn’t understand what he was saying, I recognised two words.. “toothpaste ad.” 😂

That little goal umpire was shakin’ in his boots 😅

That’s exactly why we all come on here, Dub.

I don’t know why they have to wear this guernsey, it’s not like brown and gold causes a clash with red, white and blue.
  13. I’m already in charge of the reporters. Incidentally, have you seen the reporters? A motley bunch indeed, so it’s not something I’d put on my CV.
  14. Oh, I’ve heard a bunch, NC. But according to some, either I’m making stuff up, or Ardu (Kozzie’s partner) is lying to me, which would be odd since she volunteers the info. Anyways, we shall see what transpires.
  15. Imagine an announcement that Kozzie is extending his contract! That would be incredibly cool. I’m not an I told you so type but geez it’ll be hard to hold back when this happens 😅
  16. If you’re coming to Fed. Square for the Walk to the ‘G (commencing at 12:15pm) and/or the entertainment and partner giveaways (commencing at 10am)… Be sure to visit the Demon Army tent for a snag in bread (with or without onions) or a delicious homemade Big Freeze cupcake! Or both! 😃 We’ll also have water and soft drinks for sale. We accept cash and card. This is by far and away our biggest fundraiser for the year and we’re hoping the predicted cold and wet weather won’t keep folks away (PS: footy is a winter sport 😉) Shoutout to Coles who've again very kindly given us $1000 to cover all our costs meaning every last cent we make goes to Fight MND. Please come to our tent for deliciousness. We serve sooooo many Collingwood fans, it would be nice to have some customers I’m not rude to. 😅 JK. This is the one time I welcome the ferals, because Neale 💕

Ticketek says they’re concerned about the safety of children who are at the footy without an adult. Maybe they are. But what they’re definitely concerned about is adults purchasing tickets (for adults to attend) at the price of children’s tickets. Therefore they flag accounts where just children’s tickets are purchased (with no adult tickets in the same order), but they’ve also flagged accounts where there’s one adult ticket along with several under-5yo children tickets. Anyways, glad it was quickly sorted for you, old55. Who needs the stress, right? I’m sure there’ll be more than enough stress during the match 😑
  18. I’ve had the complete opposite, PF. At every single match I’ve been wanded and bag-checked. But yeah, so many people just waltz on in. However, I have a feeling this week will be different because Collingwood.
  19. Yes, but Wallbanger obviously thinks he’s your 2IC.
  20. Who made you the boss??????

Trust me… that doesn’t work. I found out the hard way the first and only time I held up the target 😭

It didn’t go past me. I knew the point you were making re the hospitality industry and the hours worked therein. But when I read beer, wine etc. I was also making a point, that being the players are more ‘hard done by’ (to use your words) than folks know.

Beer wine, something else? Did you know players who are rehabbing are forbidden from drinking alcohol? That’s 24/7, no exceptions, for the duration of their recovery. That’s just one of many examples of how the club owns the players’ souls.

The average worker owns his/her own soul. The club owns the players’ souls.
