All good. It was a driving act. He didn’t expect the other car to change direction. He’ll bring wine and flowers to the other drive tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to Saturday night’s match - the Centrelink Cup - would love to see Port demolish the Pies.
  3. Cados co-hosts the DeeBrief podcast with Adrian.
  4. Yeah I think the pattern will remain as recovery sessions and Captain’s Runs, both being short and light sessions at Gosch’s; and the lengthy, intense sessions at Casey. Depending on what day of the week we play, consecutive days at Casey will happen, which is something that didn’t happen before now. They also have days where they’re in the gym for the whole session, as well as gym sessions following the light training at Gosch’s on some days. Some even have an ice bath immediately following training when it used to be just jumping in the shower. Another new implementation Is
 Zooper Doopers after training! 😂
  5. The boys did train at Casey this morning, from about 9:30am until at least midday. It was closed (of course) and apart from a small group of teenage boys who hung around for a while my friend was the only spectator. In stark contrast to yesterday’s S&Gs love-fest, today’s session was serious af. Very intense, no mucking around whatsoever. I don’t have her notes (not sure if she made any) but we spoke briefly on the phone and she made a point of saying she doesn’t think The Bison will get a guernsey this Sunday based on the fact that for the entire match sim he was wearing the “B team” vest, a grey vest, but it could’ve been pink and purple polka dots coz clearly she’s colour blind, amirite @Beetle 😂 Training tomorrow is also at Casey, a similar session to today’s or so she was told by the property volunteer. Obviously Casey is where the real stuff happens and two such sessions in as many days says we’re deadly serious. imho anyways.

For me it’s like having to choose between a sh*t sandwich (cut any way) and a roast dinner. Again, coz Essendon. Besides, one can’t simply masquerade as a Carlton supporter for 20 years without having a lingering soft spot for them, now can one?
  7. So, everything Pickett Fence has ever posted.

If it’s all the same to you, how about we let the Hawks win this week and let Carlton do us all a solid next week coz Essendon đŸ€ź
  9. Now that he’s got two fully functional feet the Club expects more from him.
  10. This is what happens when a ghostwriter uses a ghostwriter. Or
Petts did play in both, one in defence and one up forward. 😝
  11. The Captain’s Run will be at Gosch’s this Saturday morning (March 15th). I’m guessing it will be at 10am but I’ll confirm on this thread, regardless. Yep. 10am it is.
  12. I can’t remember, but I remember it wasn’t planned. It was one of those I remember what I was doing when it happened moments. It was swift but it was brutal. Seemingly we all came out unscathed. Incidentally, at the time I was patiently trying to convince my 90yo legally blind then-neighbour that no, this isn’t his house, his house is across the road.
  13. He seemed nice last time I spent time with him, (mid-2021 when Demonland was down one evening).
  14. I’m gonna spend the time with my son, what’s-his-name. I’m pretty sure he still lives with me.
  15. I reckon Thursday at Casey will be punishing. A few of them mentioned increased time in the gym, which is entirely different to outdoor training but it’s training nonetheless. PS a giggle session in a loving environment is fine by me 😁
  16. I wouldn’t read too much into it. Shane once told me Kozzie doesn’t mind the occasional sch!tt-stir. If so, he’s getting the desired results 🙃
  17. Yep. Kozzie was his usual self. He’s never “easy to read” because he’s quiet and his demeanour gives nothing away.
  18. Judd was there. I’m not sure at what level of participation but I saw him leaving the field
  19. Re Kolt’s timeline: he finds out this arvo when they “sit me down for a talk,” his words. He made it sound so serious but he said he’s expecting good news. Jai wasn’t here today but Kolt said he’s actually in really good spirits considering his bad news. Kolt says the Club is “fantastic” at keeping the injured players in a good headspace. I told Kolt it’s been reported that Jai is 4-6 weeks out and he said that won’t be known until this arvo đŸ€·â€â™€ïž Luker is looking much better now but says he doesn’t feel that way sometimes but he knows why that is so. It’s his fitness that’s his main concern. I told him how incredible it is that merely 10 weeks ago he was very unwell, seriously unwell, and now he’s running around and looking so much healthier, (I didn’t tell him he looked like death warmed up when he first returned). I told him the fact that they’ve given him a timeline is great, as opposed to an indefinite length of time. He still loves living in Melbourne, I didn’t ask him, he volunteered this. He says Porzy looks after him really well. I bid Fish a very happy birthday (it’s today) as I did Jeffo - his birthday was on Saturday, same as mine, but “a few” years apart - don’t anyone say a bloody word, I’ve already told Rooey off for heartily laughing at “a few” đŸ€š I showed The Bison a pic of the handheld banner that’s been made with “The (19) Bison” on it which I’ll be flourishing when he debuts, and long after that. His mouth said “oh yeah, that looks ok” but every other part of him screamed “THAT’S [censored] AWESOME!!!”especially his blushing cheeks. Bless him. Moustache-watch
Luker has remained clean shaven but I’m stamping out spot fires because The Bison still has his and now Pup is growing one (or attempting to). Mo-watch (but a different kind of Mo)
Clarrie asked me if I saw his goal (soccer) which I had and I said his celebration was nuts. He said he was doing his best Salah and I learned that there’s a Liverpool soccer player whose first name is Mo which I found amusing. Mo 😂 Like one of the Three Stooges 😂 Clarrie didn’t think it was funny (clearly before his time). At this stage
Training will be at Casey on Thursday and the Captain’s Run will be at Gosch’s on Saturday morning. The boys are absolutely raring to go. To use Salo’s words: “This Sunday
 [censored] YEAH!”
  20. Practising goal kicking and what a shame no Koz for the first few rounds. Jeffo slotting them. As is Roo. And Claz. wow. Shortest session ever. They’re slowly going back to the rooms already
  21. Back here at Gosch’s. They’re already out on the park. They’re playing soccer, red vs blue. They’re serious but having a blast Kolt and Luker kick-to-kick under the watchful eye of Chocco, except not watchful for the past 15 minutes while he was chatting to me. 😅 Marty is practicing tackling with Keith the physio. LOL Claz just kicked a goal and the celebration was wild, just like in real soccer games. I’m not 100% sure but he dropped to his knees and I think he kissed the turf.
  22. It’s new. Last week he said he thought it was a minor issue. He also said they’d only just put him in the moonboot that morning but it was only precautionary. He’d be gutted 🙁
  23. Poor Jai. Turns out it wasn’t a minor foot thing after all 🙁
  24. I have the phone numbers of the property manager and one of his volunteers, which is way more useful than the players and even the coaches. They know stuff-all about when/where sessions are right up until the night before. I’ve actually had players ask me where their next session is. True story. 😂 As for today, this was a last minute change. The property guys let me know at 9:15am which was when the session was to begin. That’s nice of them but would’ve been great to have known before I got there 😭 #”closed”SessionWoes 😁
