  1. Yeah I guess I don’t realise how annoying that can be since I wouldn’t touch the gameday thread with a barge pole (once the game begins). But annoyance is nothing compared to personal attacks and cruel insults. PF is amusing albeit with a touch of irritation.
  2. Jai’s jumper all the way!
  3. I’m sure there’s a cream for these.
  4. Those overnight nappy pants for toddlers are the way to go, even for a 5yo. Get the Aldi home brand type, cheaper but just as good. If the nappy pants are dry in the morning they can be reused that night.
  5. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Picket Fence is HARMLESS. I don’t know why anyone would bother to take him to task about anything he says. He’s not hurting anyone.
  6. Two little things about Jack: At our “Family Day” at Gosch’s last year (13th December) Kingy told us it was Jack’s birthday. I got one of our beautiful handmade cupcakes, put it in a cute little cake-box and gave it to Jack. Maybe it’s because he was new to the club but he was so surprised and genuinely moved by the gesture. A week later at training he made a point of thanking me again and saying it made him feel welcome to our club. So, there was a snippet of an interview that someone posted on here a couple of weeks ago where Jack openly and honestly shared his feelings about being let go by the Saints. It was obvious he still had some sadness at having to leave. Couple of days later, at Gosch’s, I asked him if he’s happy at our club. He knew I was referring to those comments. He went on to say that yes he is happy with us and everyone has been wonderful and he’s still adapting but bottom line, he’s happy. I went to park myself at my usual spot and he went to put on his boots. But before running out on the park, he came over and said, “I really am happy here… I’m actually very happy!” Just little things except huge things at the same time.
  7. That’s a possibility. Max and Tmac chose past players who’d played with them both. If a player wasn’t there it’s because they couldn’t make it or chose not to attend. But the club also had a say in who’d be invited.
  8. Tracc wasn’t there. Reason unknown. But he is injured so maybe that’s the reason for his absence.
  9. This made me laugh. If only it was confined to slightly negative comments, maybe then it would be readable. The gameday thread is a thread of two halves for me, the first half ending just before the ball-up.
  10. May your neighbours continue to hate you every week deep into September 😀
  11. I didn’t see him but a few people told me they saw him while out on banner raising. I forwent banner raising just for this match for several reasons but had I been out there I could confirm. Edit: I just double checked and yes Clarrie was there. Clearly kept a low profile. I don’t know where these rumours came from (that he missed it because of partying all night) but that’s all they are… rumours
  12. “it’s time to go, Vossy. Put your sch!tt in a box!” 🤣🤣🤣
  13. After a loss I don’t watch a single minute of any of the footy shows, I don’t read a word about footy. I pretend it never happened. After a win I lap that sch!tt up. I read, watch and talk about nothing else. As a friend of mine said after our Saints win, “I’m gonna watch 360, Midweek Tackle, Agenda Setters, First Crack, On The Couch, Under The Couch, Behind The Couch, On The Fridge, Under The Bed… the lot of ‘em!” 🤣
  14. Apparently it was Max’s idea, he wanted them to rock up in whatever made them feel good. It’s very NBAesque but they look awesome
  15. The Drip is Fresh Ma G Have we talked about how flippin cool our boys looked when they arrived at the ground????
  16. Agreed, Red. We don’t know why certain past players weren’t there. Omac was there yesterday, just not in the photo. He would have to answer to his nephew Lmac had he not attended. Leo adores his uncle Oscar. 🥰
  17. Awww Layz. Understandable that you need to dial back physically and even mentally but your heart will always beat true for the red and the blue. That never changes. Also, ya kept this quiet!
  18. Kolt was a Freo supporter.
  19. At home, injured.
  20. JW4 🥹 and Hibbo 🥹
  21. Clarrie used to help oppo up off the ground. I asked him why he did so and he said, “I dunno, you see a bloke on his @rze and you help him up.” I guess it’s intrinsic with some people.
  22. He was there, as were a few of our past players, including Clarrie
  23. His other leg
