  1. Mods, feel free to delete this thread 👍🏽
  2. https://amp.abc.net.au/article/105099568 How does this 10pm curfew affect him playing on Thursday night?
  3. Like I didn’t hate Hird enough already. It takes a special level of a-hole to downplay what Tracc did in the rooms.
  4. I’m Ghosty. @ghost who walks is my groupie 🤣
  5. You’ve been in his corner all along, and I reckon it won’t be in vain. You might remember I was never a fan, but after his first session back at training last year he spoke to me and another DA-er (who was also not a fan) for about 20 mins and it had a profound effect on us. He was totally candid, he spoke for the entire time and we just listened. When he talked about how much he loves the boys he teared up and If his speech in the rooms was anything like that, he clearly means it, and his belief in, and commitment to the club isn’t temporary as I once thought it might be.
  6. For once Tommy’s not trolling. I just spoke with a guy who was in the rooms and he told me that Tracc’s (impromptu) speech was heartfelt and incredibly moving. Tracc said he’s 100% committed to the club. He said he loves the MFC and he doesn’t wanna be anywhere else. He told the boys he f@%#*#g loves them and his speech was very well received. There were even tears shed.
  7. No voodoo doll for you, Super 💕 Besides, you’d know if there was because I don’t do plantar, that’s child’s play. I’m more of a vital organ type gal. 😁
  8. We all know Max doesn’t need help missing a goal 🤭 Besides, you try flogging so much that your arms are ready to fall off, then get back to me. My biceps were issuing death threats throughout that match and this morning I realise they meant business. I can hardly raise my arms. 16 goals, that’s a lot of flogging, not to mention every time oppo lined up for goal up our end.
  9. 25,000… a great attendance, all things considered. I’ve yet to watch the replay but I heard that the commentators mentioned how loud the Dees fans were, and that post-match Max also mentioned it. On that, at one point in the last quarter, Max was lining up for goal and Kolt was standing on the goal line. I was in the front row on a flogger and Kolt turned around, caught eyes with me, raised his eyebrows, very subtly nodded towards Max and discreetly did the hand action of ‘turn it up!’ I turned to Ryan, our awesome chief noise-maker and said “Kolt wants us to go nuts!” And we did. Max kicked a behind but that’s not the point. The point is, it felt as though Kolt wanted Max to hear and see the support, which for mine is a great sign, to see a young player care about his captain like that. It also confirmed what a cheeky bugger Kolt is. I haven’t been in the cheer squad for as long as others but I’m sure this is something a seasoned player might do, not so much a colt, if you will 😁
  10. You’re right, my comrade from the afterlife. I cried like a baby. Hell, I was crying at halftime coz we’d equalled our best full-time score already.
  11. We use present tense instead of past tense and we’re confused. Soz ATG, but with such a good win there’s nothing else to pick on and without squabbling is this even really Demonland? 😁
  12. Along with that, he tries his bloody hardest. He may not always win out but it’s not through want of trying.
  13. Oh Ditcha… make no mistake… I’ll be wearing those socks to every single match. This evening I found my Demon Army socks in my son’s sock drawer and guess what? I’m leaving them there! Wore them five times, we lost all five matches. Never underestimate the power of the sock 😅
  14. I didn’t shed a single tear.
  15. I need to apologise for saying Kozzie was a late out. We had DA members at Casey and they announced it in our group WhatsApp and it spread like wildfire throughout the cheer squad. Sorry for worrying folks. But more importantly… HOW BLOODY GOOD WAS THAT WIN !!! All the emotions running amok but the main one was RELIEF. So, so proud of our boys. PS: ‘twas my lucky Melbourne socks that did it. YOU’RE ALL WELCOME! Needless to say I’ll be wearing them every week. Again, you’re all welcome 😁 YEAH THE MIGHTY DEES!
  16. Yep.
  17. No Koz. It’s getting so hard to maintain the positivity but we’re still a chance, always a chance no matter what.
  18. This is right now at North Melbourne station. Gotta drink three of these babies before I enter the ground because I don’t wanna do the usual smuggling them in lest the over-zealous bag-checkers find them. Not chugging them all at the gate, been there, done that, felt sick.
  19. I’m not superstitious but I do wear the same Melbourne socks to every match. However, this year I’ve been wearing our new Demon Army socks. I couldn’t find them this morning so I’m wearing the Melbourne socks today. We all know what that means, don’t we boys and girls?! Yep, a win for sure! Y’all are soooo welcome 😘
  20. Note: gates open earlier today (11:30am), due to the extra time needed to check folks upon entry. Sadly though, I don’t think the extra time is needed since it won’t take long to check so few people 😢
  21. Three coffees and two Red Bulls in and I’m fired up and ready to go!!! There’s a chance we’ll lose today. There’s a chance we’ll win. I’m gonna focus on the chance of a win. Us by a Charlie SpargiPants (9pts) RAISE HELL, DEES! ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙

  23. That’s his nickname: Full-cream milk.
  24. Fritta has already been told he’s only playing a half at Casey then he’s heading over to the ‘G before the start of the firsts.
  25. Both “trained” normally, although today’s session was really not much to go by because there were kids running around etc. and not a lot of training was happening (today of all days… no soccer balls!). Yesterday my friend was at Casey and said both Koz and Maysie trained unhampered.
