I looked at Bennell the moment Davey was carried off, in hope that he would see himself as an automatic replacement however, Davey is so far ahead of everyone. We should be looking at Bennell as a back up for Davey in future. He has the speed that Davey had when he started at the club.

I've been talking with dork supporters, watching footy shows & reading the papers & have come to one conclusion - no respect. To those dork supporters, this game is Ho Hum. We are making a big deal of this game, but to them - they could give a flying frog's fat arse. We're chicken sh*t - just wasting their time. Other than Collingwood in their last round, we're nothing but slight distraction to them. They humour us with how good we have been in the last 2-3 rounds blah blah blah, but the smirk of their face tells us that they do not respect us. Look at their website - we don't even gain a mention. They'll be turning up in their thousands looking at finally "getting back on track". Good luck dees.

As mentioned on another thread, I thought this crap was sorted out in the last TV deal. Every game should be seen live OR near live anywhere in Australia using the combination of channel 10, channel 7 & Foxtel. Obviously not. This SHOULD be rectified in the next deal (we hope).

Just having a quick look at coverage around Australia. Not sure what the TV deals are all about, but there are pockets in the country that receive absolutely NO live coverage what so ever of all games. Agree that the weather will really affect the crowd, but too much at stake for both clubs therefore, that is why I reckon 55,000 for the day. And if it turns out to be a nice day, I'll say that there will be an even crowd spread between red/blue & sh*t/p*ss colours. As mentioned earlier - this is a free disignated game for us - so everyone turn up.

If you want to shut down Hodge, I reckon Dunn can do it. He made his name as a hard tagger. He is stubborn, irritating, annoying - you name it. If Hodge plays in the their half back line, this will be a perfect place for Dunn to be to snag a goal or two.

Anyway, Campbell Brown is due back this week therefore, a fair swap for Guerra.

Kennett on the radio ALL morning today (3AW & SEN) talking about a season defining game between the Dorks & the Demons. Unfortunately, his arrogance comes out on radio & he has no fear about this game. If we win this weekend, I'm buying a grand final ticket.
