I think that's just JJ. Not great at anything not bad at anything just good at all. His all round ability is what had got him to where he is now but I dont think he has got anything special to keep him at the level. Other players could/should go past him pretty quickly.

I think both Trac and Clarry had there lowest TOG for the season.

you made that assertion after all of 5 mins play. JVR looked out of his depth in the first 3 quarters until a VFL defender went to him

looks like him TALENTED TEEN WEIGHS CRICKET INTEREST HARRY DeMattia can lay claim to a unique lead-in to this year's Coates Talent League. The Dandenong Stingrays prospect was a substitute fielder for the Australian cricket team during last year's Boxing Day Test match, taking the field at stages across the contest against South Africa. Harry DeMattia (right) during the 2022 Boxing Day Test. Picture: Foxtel DeMattia, who plays for premier cricket club Melbourne, followed up his Boxing Day cameo by playing at the Victorian underage cricket championships. But now DeMattia, a powerful and versatile prospect, is fully invested in his footy campaign playing in the under-18 competition. Last week the 184cm prospect kicked three goals from 14 disposals against the Geelong Falcons, and he will play a mix of different roles this season with his good kicking and speed. He ran the 20-metre sprint in 2.92 seconds at the recent Coates Talent League testing day. DeMattia faces a decision on his sporting future at some stage this season but has AFL clubs interested after a strong start to the year. Harry DeMattia playing for the Dandenong Stingrays. Picture: Jazz Bennett "He had a foot niggle in the pre-season but he was still around the group all of the time and he trained at a high level in the rehab group," said Stingrays talent manager Toby Jedwab. "The role he's got lined up is as a high half-forward and he can also play half-back and he has gone into a midfield rotation as well. He'll play a bit of everywhere through the season." – Callum Twomey

Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
BangBnagBang replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
I wonder if Adem would step away from coaching at Melbourne if/when Noah joins the club???? -
thought the same myself will be an interesting watch though the season, Also brought in Joyce to have the extra tall defender to match up when we have a ruck resting forward. When we go with Brown and the ruck it it really gives Fritch the mis match.

You also have to add that not all players are on a fixed salary. Rivers more than likely as a only a second contract may well be on a low base with high match payments and bonuses. I would think only the top 10-15?? would have no match payments?? -
Was listening to SEN at the time and Wheatley got a private text message from somebody who saw Viney in the street. GW then got Edmund to ring club to confirm. Club may/may not have all the info?? SEN didnt know what the injury was just that JV was bandaged up and limping. Club confirmed knock when questioned.
