Look at the silver lining, after the thumping today Bye Bye Goodwin.

Unfortunately we can't tank because Essendon owns our [censored] this season. Otherwise I would say just play the kids, start building the future. Thank you Max, May and a couple more vets. Not sure what to do when you clearly see no care whatsoever from some of our senior players.

On top of all the [censored] after 2021. Our recruitment of FA has been putrid. Probably the worst from a premiership fancy in recent history. Our drafting has been phenomenal, just imagine where would we be if the club was able to attract a McKay, Lynch or similar.A graders.

Should we then delist everyone and keep Simon "Premiership Coach" Goodwin?

We never had the most athletic players but Oliver strolling around ditto Max. We really need more young people coming in.

I watched the game on Fox Footy, they actually showed a lot of the MCC side during the broadcast. Not sure if it's the same feed for channel 7.

Let's take it easy mate. First thing is to be as high as possible on that ladder, we owe a 1st round pick to Essendon.

The shot was in line me thinks, perhaps the wind made the ball fall short?

But were they quality set shots? I remember one that came from a mark to a wide open Rivers. If you noticed, he ran wide to the pocket so by the time he marked the ball he wasn't in the most ideal position. Had he run towards the centre of the field, he'd have better chances to get a goal. Sometimes there's lack of awareness, i.e. Footy IQ.

Max Gawn needs to develop a banana kick, he misses too many of those 15-20 m with an angle. You just can't miss those opportunities and he misses many of those.

When are we going to finally fix our skills issues? We have few high lights and they are very sparse around the ground.

Our skills and pace are still the bane of our existence. Until we fix those two it'll be hard to expect a great season. Fought well today.

So you are saying we need a new coach pronto?

I believe Cados has mentioned recently he is now working with channel 7. Even better if that's the case.

The club should exploit this more, specially for the younger supporters.

We certainly will be desperate to find our new Gawn.
