Interesting how the head clash incident in the Port game is being labelled migraine and not concussion. FMD. Good seeing Port prioritising player welfare

Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition

Must prioritise ladder position over draft pick at this point in time. Go Freo next weekend and go Geelong! -
Okay, I’m on a bit of a roll here. One more upset thanks. Go Adelaide!
-
Go GCS - I want to see another upset win today
-
Who do I believe, Barrett or Goody? Looking forward to seeing Grundy in the finals and beyond
-
Bazball Pies v Carlscum ….. I’m torn🤮
-
If you believe in ‘culture and values’ of the MFC that Goody always goes on about (and I do) I have no doubt that Grundy will be around for the finals and for a few years to come. Go Grundy and Go Dees!

Yep, and the St Kilda offer pretty much prove the point, membership numbers (for all clubs) at the end of the day mean diddly squat. Surprised they don’t offer steak knives as an incentive. The only real number that counts (most certainly for the players) is how many of their supporters turn up on game day and how loud they are. Putting a positive spin on it, we are doing okay but I’m hoping we will end up doing a lot better. Couple of BIG away games coming up (Richmond/ Carlton). I hope we, the supporters do the team proud.

The Front Bar is now the only ‘footy show’ that I watch other than the actual games that are shown on tv. (Stating the obvious, to be entertained not informed) Football shows have somehow morphed into being ‘tabloid tv’ if that makes sense. Can’t see this changing anytime soon. Somewhat desperately perhaps, Demonland threads and podcasts is my ‘go to’ for footy information nowadays.

Sounds like there is bit of a ‘Twist’ to this story. It’s okay, I’ll leave now

What They Are Saying at Punt Road

Could be worse …. Buthead! -
I sort of figure if we can’t finish 2nd at the end of the home and away (possible but bit of a long shot) I would much rather us finish 4th for very obvious reasons this year.
-
And if we get a swag of our supporters turn up it will also help our boys. It’s pretty much the best (and only way) that we can tangibly help our team. We owe it to them. Simple as that.

I think that the culture that Goody lives and breathes cannot be underestimated, it’s impact on the club and players…in my opinion, priceless
-
There must be something very special about our culture. People keep hanging around Hope this keeps rubbing off onto our supporters…..make sure you rock up to the G this weekend
-
I now hope that they set themselves to play their ‘mini grand final’ against Port next weekend and do well.
-
Makes me appreciate oh so much that we beat them a few weeks ago …GO DEES!
-
The Ferals are the team to beat, sad but true
-
Hate to say it, two very good sides, deserved premiership favourites….for the moment

What They Are Saying at Westlakes

Agree, no such thing as an easy game for us for the rest of the season. Even North will be tricky, my understanding is that Clarkson resumes control when we play them. Hope we get a lot of supporters turning up this Sunday. Almost embarrassing at times the way Choco, Goody and even Petracca are almost begging for fans to turn up and make some noise In the meantime…….One game at a time. -
When I start thinking about who I would rather play or not play against in the finals I (somewhat stupidly) begin to worry and stress big time. Can’t keep doing this for the next six weeks so… For self press preservation reasons I am trying to adopt the mantra ‘anyone, anywhere, anytime’. At our best (and luck with injuries) we can beat anyone. GO DEES.
-
But in the meantime I can at least dream that it may happen- GO DEES!!!
-
Grundy is one of us and I would like to think that he will finish his career with us. He will not only play a significant role this year but in future years. Like to think he will help us snag a few flags along the way. I could be proven wrong but I am very confident that I won’t be.

To me it is just the tone of her voice, let alone what she says that soooo grates with me. (I presume she was one of the commentators on ABC- if not apologies to Underwood) I listen to the footy when I’m at the footy (put one ear piece only so I still get the atmosphere). My normal first choice station is by default the ABC, bit out of habit and because it tends to get the better reception at the G on my little radio. As a backup I have the other footy stations preprogrammed as other options. When I heard the voice, the tone snd the dribble coming out I auto pilot without thinking switch to another radio station.

I know it had been asked before and had been answered somewhere but…… sorry to be a pain, where can one access training locations, dates / times on the web?
