  1. Looking forward to seeing when all (or most) of our players come on song…. next week when we play Geelong would be good.🤞
  2. My weather app says some showers tonight and early morning then pretty much dry for rest of the day / evening. Perfect weather for footy.
  3. What’s this ‘slight push in the backI’ bs? It was blatant.
  4. Won’t need to. Presuming there will be a file inside the cake.
  5. Hope you are correct. Not taking things for granted but with Richmond’s injuries, even with having Oliver and Salem out I am not just expecting us to win but am hoping to see a ‘statement game’ and getting a percentage boost. Following week is the big game against the cats. Carlscum five days later unfortunately is a bit problematic. Want three wins, will settle for two, nothing less.
  6. Can’t wait until the day when the AFL has to try and defend itself (and it’s joke of a tribunal decision making processes) against aggrieved former / current players in a real court of law. It’s just a matter of time.
  7. My totally uneducated and not researched take is that no matter whose home game it is or how the teams are performing or where they are on the ladder, the Anzac Eve game nowadays will tend to draw a big crowd. Shades of the Anzac Day game if that makes sense. A annual pilgrimage. Putting aside club shenanigans with ticket availability and associated highway robbery costs, I sort of like that it is becoming a big game year in, year out. Makes for a great atmosphere etc. GO DEES!
  8. All the more reason to rest Oliver if his hand is not quite right. We need him going at 100%
  9. Hope he gets BOG tonight. Go Salem, go Dees!
  10. The only upside is that Carlton play Collingwood the week prior. Other downside is that it is an ‘away’ game for us, but it is at the G so that should not stop us from rocking up and supporting our boys.
  11. We should give up a high draft pick to try and secure either Carlton’s or Collingwood’s lawyer.
  12. Here are my thoughts on how it should go. If Maynard concussed and finished a player’s career and got let off…. then Kossie’s light hit on a player deserves a warning and maybe a fine…..had he missed, well then that is clearly one week maybe even two. I find it best not to think too deeply at times.
  13. Not to forget Bryan Taylor’s unbelievable biased (barracking) commentary. [censored]!
  14. After tonight, I’m looking forward to having a nice stress free weekend 🤞GO DEES!
  15. Just want the four points, nothing more, nothing less.
  16. Is it just me……Made me think of Clarry
  17. Can’t wait until the Tassie team starts up.
  18. I was there too. I know it depends to a large degree on where you sit but from my perspective, Collingwood supporters are far, far more feral than Port’s. (I still can’t get over how they started chanting their stupid chant when Brayshaw was knocked out cold on the ground in last year’s final).
  19. Always interests me when the squad is announced who will eventually be named the sub come game day. A suggestion. How hard would it be to create a weekly poll (similar to the one in the thread that asks ‘who is your least favourite team’). This would give an opportunity for all us armchair experts to pick (or in my case guess) who will be the sub. If all too difficult, all good, it was just a thought In the meantime….GO DEES!
  20. Some people are very good at ‘talking the walk’. Others like Jack, just ‘walk the talk’. Well done mate.
  21. Hang in there bro….we’ll get through this.
  22. I’m guessing that this was the Pakenham train.
  23. That was the game that he got my respect. He was very good at dishing it out all his career. That game he copped one in return and took it well….and what a GF that was. One of the best ever.
