Conversion rate of supporters into members
Should be a stat for noise made by those turning up at games. I know we've never been a loud supporter base and crowds are good enough, but the advantage both Collingwood and Carlton had against us was massive.

2024 Fixture
We've finished 6th so we are still in the top bracket for fixturing which means we will get 2 or 3 of the top 5 twice. My expectations are Collingwood, Brisbane and Carlton twice from the top bracket, Geelong and Adelaide from the middle bracket and North or Gold coast twice. We will get Geelong twice so they can send us down the highway and get a game at the G against them. Port on the Thursday night of Gather round and potentially West Coast in the Alice to ensure we never get them at the G. 13 games at the G (3 aways being Richmond, Collingwood and Carlton), 1 at Marvel and 1 in Geelong for our 15 Vic games. Wishful thinking that we wont get Geelong at their grotty little pub ground.

2023 GRAND FINAL
Got 6 tickets in the non competing afl gold on sale. I look at it as 6 tickets not available to Collingwood scum.

Yze replacement
My top picks would be (and we need to move Stafford on as well): Stewart Dew Brenton Sanderson Joel Selwood (development coach) Todd Goldstein (Bring in as second ruck and move to ruck coach in 2025) Leppitsch (but wishful thinking) Ratten

Bruise free footy
How many times to do we see Max get assaulted by opposition players all over the ground and nobody goes to help him. Indictment on the club.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Imo Expecting 94, will be more than last week because the neutrals that were put off by the rain will attend. with regards to prelim tickets, the original allocation is split 50:50. They will open up bays at the start of the on sale and we will both have around 5 bays each and they will keep opening new bays when those sell out. As our allocation won’t sell out they will get the extra bays.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Yes but be realistic please, there will have been 3 times the demand from Carlton supporters because they are probably three times the size of us and they are up and about. Think its very reasonable to expect that there would have been more Carlton supporters in the queue
-
TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Correct. Initially level 1, 2 and 2A were 50:50 and level 4 was about 60:40 their way. By the end of the on sale it was 70:30 their way because we weren't filling our allocation.

No completely incorrect. afl is 22K of which 5k is medallion club mcc 23k. Club allocation is about 45k and the remaining 5k are corporates. Don’t know where your ga number is coming from there is no GA, there were about 1000 tickets left over from the member allocations and today there were none.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Collingwood would have had 80% of the AFL reserve and we had 80% of the MCC. That's not why the crowd was so one sided. The club allocations start at 50:50 but do not finish at 50:50 because bays get reallocated. Calrton ended up with 70% of the public reserve and so they will have around 70% of the crowd.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
In theory they run out of walk up spaces, but pretty sure they will let you in and stand on level 1 because the MCC doesn't sell standing room until the GF.
-
TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
People reserve on Level 4 but choose to walk up and take a level 1/2/3 seat - hence double dipping because they have two seats and dont use the ones on level 4. As of last year, on Grand Final day, if you were successful in the MCC GF ballot you could not enter the ground until after 12pm. As such, they deactivated the member barcode that was attached to the reserved seat in the ballot. Otherwise, a member with a reserved seat from the ballot could walk up and take a better seat on the day.
-
TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Their current system for Grand Finals is that if you have a reserved seat your barcode is deactivated until 12pm so you can't walk up to level 1,2 or 3.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Yep plenty of double dipping in the MCC for both games last week

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
Level 2a P15-P20 are medallion club and they were half full at most.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
We are going to be outnumbered at least 60,000 to 30,000 only saved by the 15K of us in the MCC

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
AFL reserve down to standing room only already.

TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
You can jump onto the virtual venue: https://mcg.io-media.com/web/index.html Select your bay and closest row and then find the row you are in and count the seats :). Having just looked for you, there are 23 seats in that bay at row V, However, Q1 has a tiny one seat section next to it, so you may be one seat off the aisle.

They split the bays on level 4 into 3 sections. In the southern stand it would be (using Q2 as an examples): Q2 - Rows A-J Q2-1 Rows K-T Q2-2 Rows U-DD They essentially reflect the categories of the tickets, so Q2-2 I think is category 7?

Have a look a the pictures I posted a few pages back, it shows the normal allocation and the second picture is the premium allocation.

Half of M54 is now a Melbourne bay
-
TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
It is sound, the Premium allocation category 1 seats were available until 11am
-
TICKETING: SF vs Carlton
We had more level 2 and level 2A seats than they did in the Southern stand, they all went first. N54 and N55 would have been our two most popular bays, likely the Trident members that want to sit where they normally sit.
