  1. M35 is a Melbourne bay as well as M30 and M31
  2. there are still plenty seats available! All of our priority member seats are pretty much gone but heaps still available on level 4. Do not worry if you are in the ponsford, we have 3 bays on level 1 and 3 on level 4 as well. You won’t be alone.
  3. Nah restricted members can buy visitor tickets
  4. I got 9 tickets level 2 mcc, ticketek worked perfectly. really helpful that they have staggered the games. Already up to row Z level 4 in the MCC.
  5. Good luck today everyone! Remember to be patient, they release bays at staggered times when they start selling out so if it says no availability just keep trying. If our allocation gets full you can always try the Collingwood allocation. It is unlikely it will completely sell out in the member on sale. AFL members like me, god help us all.
  6. No. Cheersquad is in M3. You can be nearly certain that as the "away" team we will Have M3-M6, M9-M10, M12-M13 M16, M52-M53, M55-M56 in the Southern and Olympic with the correlating bays on level 2, 2A and 4. And if not those bays it will be the opposite. Ponsford we will get access to 4 of the 8 bays on level 1 and the same on level 2. As much as people dont like to hear it, they do actually split the bays 50 50. It just depends on whether we have enough members to fill our allocation before the Pies members start taking it.
  7. It did last year, but would confirm in your MFC account. They may give you a separate barcode for the Melbourne allocation.
  8. Any other Redlegs/Tridents yet to received the email yet? My partner has but I have not.
  9. Saints game also on Ticketek but for AFL reserve they are staggering the games, hopefully they do the same for Public and MCC. The premium option I am not 100% sure about.
  10. Why on earth are we in the Ponsford. Collingwood sit in M33 all year for home and away games and have made the Ponsford theirs. It is technically their home game (I understand it is meant to be neutral) and we prefer to be at Punt Road end? Surely this makes no sense.
  11. Lets hope people find excuses to get to the game rather than excuses to not be there.
  12. Correct :)
  13. Its not a $30 GF Guarantee, its just priority 3 access to the ballot.
  14. They have always been a particularly arrogant bunch on bigfooty. Seems they forgot we beat them by 50 points in round 3.
  15. Looking forward to this thread blowing up next week especially if its against the Pies.
  16. Ill be in Bay 5 in the O'Reilly stand last row undercover, game is close to a sellout.
  17. SCG close to a sellout already, i'm expecting 38-40K and ill be one of them
  18. Its currently at 865K and will end up about 902K (SCG close to a sellout), no idea where you have pulled 930K from.
  19. the MCG is closer to the Yarra so they can shower after the game but we digress. The Marvel sellouts are a massive problem the AFL has at the moment. Constantly selling out and getting 38-43K isnt good enough. 10K unused M Club, reserved seat members and Coporate allocations. MCG is equally bad, ie 83.5k on Kings Birthday.
  20. Come on, if the Pies game was at the G it would have been around 70K. Our crowd was still great and our record against Brisbane but we can't compare with Collingwood.
  21. Call in SEN next Wednesday when Ray is on and ask. He is always able to admit to his mistakes
  22. Wise lol. There is a process in place and has been in place since the Score review was put into the game. Whether you like that process or not is separate, but that process was followed correctly by the ARC and the ARC made the correct decision. The incorrect decision (if you believe it was wrong) was made by the goal umpire. If we don't have a soft signal what is the ARC meant to do? Call it a goal or behind when there is no conclusive evidence? There is no way any person could definitively say whether that ball was touched or not.
  23. Do you seriously think your essay response actually addressed my point? My point was simply that the umpires were not the reason we lost. Melbourne was not good enough in the first quarter which you seem to disagree with but that is fine, you must not have watched the game. But as I said, my point was not addressed by your comment, if you think the umpires are the reason we lost then that would address what I said.
  24. Yes, this is the point nobody is talking about enough. The ARC's decision was correct based on the technology they have available (let's not go down that rabbit warren though). Why did the goal umpire decide to call it touched?? don't reckon I have seen one called as touched like that all year.
  25. I have no idea what your post has to do with mine. My point is that Melbourne did not lose the game because of umpiring decisions. The ARC followed the process correctly and made the only decision it could make. The problem is the Goal Umpire who for whatever reason called touched when they haven't been calling touched on those sort of plays all year. After 5 minutes into the second quarter Melbourne controlled the game but for 5 minutes at the end of the second and 3 minutes at the start of the fourth. Yes, the pressure was outstanding from both sides except for tackles inside 50 where we found wanting (lost the count 21-8) from both sides but again what does that have to do with my point? I responded to a poster who said the umpires are the sole reason that we lost. Maybe read that post first.
