WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - MITCH BROWN
I'll just remind you that you're comparing him with Collingwood's main KPF. Two can play the selective stat game, Brown wins: Tackles inside I50: 0.8 v 0.6 - I believe this was one of your nominated KPIs? Contested possession: 5.0 v 4.9 1%: 2.9 v 1.8

There's one main reason Richmond have won those 2 flags - Dusty. No Dusty = no flags.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - MITCH BROWN
His stats stack up OK with Brody Mihocek who is the KPF at a Premiership contender https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=12&pid1=3121&fid1=P&fopt1=2018&playerStatus2=A&tid2=5&pid2=6553&fid2=P&fopt2=2018&type=A

Interesting to see Norf trade away this year's 1st rounder when they have that mature age profile. I don't expect them to challenge for the flag any time soon. Wonder what they are thinking? Geelong are staring at the mother of all rebuilds. They have 3 2020 Ist rounders. Hawthorn betting the farm on Clarkson and their foreign legion of traded in players. Collingwood running out of flag runway too. Brisbane and the Dogs look well placed for an assault on the summit.

Crystal Ball 2020: Your predictions for next season
Harley Bennell plays at 80%+ his previous capacity from the bye on and most other things going right - we win the flag.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
No that could not possibly be the case, seriously! Those scars in the image are surprisingly small though.

Nope 24x365 fascination.

No Time To Panic
Might be going a bit early on the 2018 crop. Sparrow debuted R1 and if he didn't get injured he would have played a lot more. Hard for Neita to impress with a bung ACL. I know the club rate Jordon and Dunkley. I think Lockhart has something to offer. Big year for all 5 with a full pre season.

There actually is a certain mad logic in that possessive use of he's

Yes, his really funny. He's jokes are the best.

I'm hoping this is the joke, right?

Best 22? / Next 22??
B: May Lever Salem Harmes Jetta Hibberd Petty (OMac) I'd prefer Petty but he's training with the forwards so it'll be OMac. M: Gawn Oliver Viney Brayshaw Langdon Tomlinson Petracca AVB Hopefully AVB stays fit. F: TMac Weid Melksham Fritsch Hannan Jones Bennell (?) Bennell won't be fit early so there's an opportunity there for someone.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - MITCH BROWN
I think we traded into 8 to get him and then realised it wasn't early enough.

Heavier than Sandilands? Wow!

Who would you have taken with pick # 3 - recruiters
Yes well not GWS, Sydney or Adelaide recruiters. Who might they have taken I wonder?

Rating Our 2019 Draft
You're usually a good poster well worth reading, but your train is off the tracks in this thread.

I reckon you're in for a surprise.

Its the forward line stupid
How quick is Phil Davis? You can't be slow but I don't think Weid is.

TRAINING: Friday 29th November 2019
I think there's no coincidence that our strong run at the end of 18 started around the time AVB got going. I'd like to see Dusty try the "don't argue" on AVB on ANZAC Eve.

Its the forward line stupid
I like the idea of Weid and Petty swapping roles. I think Weid could be very good as a tall back. FWIW I still have faith in him as a forward but with Petty and now Jackson he's got competition for a spot there. OMac will be in the starting 22 as a key back, but if he can't turn around his form this year then we've got a vacancy there and Weid would be very good I think.

Taylor Excited About the Draft
This is a simple observation that Taylor will be held accountable for his performance as he absolutely should be, he's a highly paid professional in a sought after job. But his critics will never really be held accountable. I am pleased to see that the release of a couple of short highlights packages have moderated the rhetoric post-draft. One veteran U18 watcher here posted pre-draft that he'd be "disgusted" if we took Jackson and Pickett. I'm not seeing that pointless vehemence now.

Simon Goodwin on SEN (28/11/19)
Fair amount of same old from the doomsayers too. Maybe take a leaf out of @Demon3 's book.
