I think Jackson is key to the draft. We trade up to 8 for someone. It would be big to take him at 3 but Freo could take him at 7. If that happened we could bid Henry at 8 and swallow their pick 10 in the bid match. Freo would do well to trade 10 and 22 to us for 8. Then they could take Jackson, Robertson and cover Henry with later picks and some points deficit. That would be a great haul of WA players for them. 3, 10 and 22 would give us a nice spread. It all depends on who we really like at 3 and 8.

The most interesting thing about training apart from who's in rehab is which groups players are training with - backs, mids, forwards. It will be very interesting to see which groups Jones, Petracca, Jordon, Hunt, Fritsch, Sparrow, Petty, C.Wagner, Lockhart, Smith are training with.

Thanks very much for the great summary LH. I don't think it's correct that we only have 3 picks. I think we have as many as we need to fill list vacancies up to 40 if we want to but they're at the end of the draft ie currently after 97.
