POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
There were a couple in that first quarter in the QF…

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
He still ball watches and finds himself out of position because of it. And there was a moment that was telling where he was facing our goal 60 out under pressure and hand passed a metre sideways to someone else under just as much pressure - take it on yourself, Sam. He has a long way to go in my view but he will be carried a long way by this team if he plays his role.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Yeah, well done to Jayden. Was evident at the ground that we had a hard ‘tag’ on Bolton in our system whenever he went forward of centre. I have an awful feeling that Jayden might miss out when we have our best backline but if he does jobs like that then he is a chance to stay in the team. I would prefer Jayden be able to play on a Charlie Cameron in September and get him thinking about defending Hunt and not just finding the footy.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Fremantle look very good. They are fast and play team defence. Their midfield is not as good as ours but it’s talented enough to get the ball and use it against anyone. Up there with Brisbane now IMO.

The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
We are moving away from the MLB Network/NBA League Pass with the AFL app no longer streaming games as they did a few years ago. And this would be the vehicle for what you are describing - broadcast aggregation and choice. Were not getting that. That would be a dilution of the market and evidently something that the AFL doesn’t want to fight for.

The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
Lol. That’s the point. Murdoch will have to pay if you want to pay him to watch the footy. Crowds might go back up again…

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
That’s abuse of the Queen’s English. Tex should apologise through a video with the Queen awkwardly sitting behind him…

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
This may be rhetorical but a handful this year. We can carry him against most.

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I think if the finals started next week, TMac would be in the team - but they don’t and he is not. Ideal world - we would not have both our key forwards as 30 year olds with long careers behind them. So Sam gets more opportunities to earn a place in this team.

No he shouldn’t. He is an established senior player who was a performer in a premiership 6 games ago. I don’t know why you are so obtuse and naive with Brown.- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Maybe he is playing a defined role that he will replicate in the seniors?- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond

Would you like to bet the motel room you are now living in?- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Yes, let’s wait until then for well thought opinion and also on whether Demonland takes @WERRIDEE’s house as agreed earlier in the week if Brown is playing. But my bet is Andy needs to go and organise the locksmith…- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Yes we do. Lever was out earlier in the season on the quiet and pulled out ‘at the last minute’. We’re a footy club, not saints.- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I doubt that that team is set… although it confusing and it leads one to think that we are playing all three tall fwds.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Yeah, he is signed through to end of 2023.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Not if the price keeps going up- 1st & 3rd Quarter Kings
David King has pointed out that they have 5 mids who dominate the time in the middle. So that may be a depth issue or a ‘hardening’ and ‘resilience’ tactic but it means that fatigue from Walsh, Cripps, Kennedy, Hewett, pittonet, and Cerra will arrive more than most teams - especially when not used to that workload. We have 3 that have played 80% or more in the middle which I would guess to be CP5, CO13, and JV7 - hardened stars.- Exclusive down the ground vision
Lol. Secrets given to the masses?? The other clubs have the vision.- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
They should be professional and that is a seperate issue. The ‘emotions of an umpire’ is a bit rich, it’s how they subjectively see something and that is what a blanket ‘demonstrative dissent’ rule seeks to ameliorate. If you throw your arms out after a decision has been made by an umpire - you are pinged or a 50m is applied. This removes the subjectiveness (and the emotions).- Low Attendance
There are only rusted on supporters on this site, and that is evidenced by your patronage during the Neeld years. This was not meant for individual criticism (especially for those on this site) but collective reflection. Crowds are down and I thought we would weather it through our generational team. Alas not.- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Aren’t they all ‘to be interpreted’? And, again, appealing is different because they are asking the question, not belittling the decision. If an umpire pays a free AND a 50 for appealing then I have little doubt it will be pointed out constantly and clarified for your benefit.- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
That’s not what I have read/heard. Appealing is different to remonstrating, and remonstrating is demonstrating dissent. Umpiring is in an awful state up and down the leagues and something had to be done. - TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
