NOT Taylor Walker
It was a vehicle of Crows and Tex Walker PR tour. This may be a generational thing @Redleg- this was seen by the indigenous people that I know ( mid 20s) as using the victim to their own ends.

NOT Taylor Walker
He made the victim of his degrading racist abuse sit behind him in a pathetic apology video for his own PR and image. At some point our talk about reconciliation and the importance of our indigenous players is either talk or more than that. If Steven, Kozzi, Toby, Deakyn and Andy are talked through it and can sign off on it then fine - but until then he can [censored] off.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
https://www.afl.com.au/news/789697/demon-for-life-clayton-oliver-signs-massive-contract-extension Calm down. It is also only ‘engageable news’ for Dees fans. No one wants to read about the best player not going anywhere 18 months before his contract was initially up - other than Dees fans…

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
This makes sense. Essentially he has a percentage of the cap this decade. Makes it easier for some of you who try to compare contracts from a decade ago. I believe the cap is around $13.5m in 2022 so the new broadcast rights will increase that. But Oliver will be on 7.4% of the cap. Done.

Says it all really. Amen.

2022 List and Contract Details
@Lucifers Hero Where are you, young padawan? You have tables to update.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
Oh ok, how much do you think the best player in the game should be on during his prime? We are giving more years so they will be happy on less money. You like competing for flags, yeah?

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
My ‘money’ is on it being the same as Petracca - $900k a year. Serious unders really. Will be interesting if there is a rider to increase as the cap increases - I assume all contracts will have these.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Yes of course, but sometimes… it less a burning and more an immolation worthy of scripture and legend…

Farewell Luke Jackson
Not in this climate certainly…

Farewell Luke Jackson
‘Edited Reason: Nonsense’ Was that to remove or add? Seriously, people, can we just calm down with the speculation on character until you know what he actually will do. He is an absolute gun and this is what happens to all clubs when you have someone like this.

Majak Daw Retires
He really was perfect back up to Max; strong, capable, not pushing for games, and a ripping bloke from what I have heard. Loved how he talked about how much he enjoyed being ‘a part of the premiership last year’ and the juxtaposition of that attitude and of our FB is not lost on me. Teams don’t win flags, clubs do.

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Papers. His manager got laughed at for not signing $2.2m/3 year deal (although I think this may have more to do with Ben and how his family were treated in 2020). The number that ‘he left on the table’ was a $1m - so he is on around $400k.

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
BBB’s role with no other recognised talk forward becomes even more important, difficult, and unrewarding. He know has to shoulder most of the load being the out kick up the wing, which gets him out of the forward line and leading at the footy. If you ever ask yourself ‘Where’s BBB??’ - was there a long kick to a contest 5 seconds before? Jackson helps with this, and Gawn and Jackson will allow BBB to actually spend some time forward other than when there is a stoppage and we can reset everyone. Biased, because I am a forward, but he played on one of the best defenders in the game and drew him out and allowed us to have 38 scoring shots. This team is about roles and BBB was performing his role, something that someone has to do while TMac is out.

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Reported $400k till 2024. Absolute bargain.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
He was practicing a new lower ball drop before the game. The problem is his field kicking has that high release and it is fine. I think his bigger issue with his set shots is that he doesn’t get into a consistent momentum in the lead up to a kick. My mantra for goal kicking is to never lean back and also drive through with some momentum. The rest of it is up to decades of predisposition and what people are comfortable with.

Ahhhh this takes me back to Octobers of old…

Caro Verbosis Interruptus
She mentioned the ‘fabulous crowd’ on Saturday on 3AW, and said well done to Melbourne supporters ‘especially considering Richmond only got 21k a few weeks prior.’

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
It was umpired like a final. Less than 30 frees paid - nothing soft, no afters were paid, aggressive 50/50s were let go. So glad I spent the money to come down to see that game.

Maybe you say in the wrong area. We would have 25k there at least.- POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Forward half pressure game is back! Finally. The ball movement was clicked into play as soon as Ben Brown tried a risky kick into the corridor and from there we took the game on and had some fun. That’s awesome footy to watch live. Ahhhhh. Jackson superb. Viney strong. Oliver inevitable. I like this smaller line up if we don’t have TMac; Bedford was great. We look quick, dangerous, and relentless.- CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
No Max. You can play against Geelong down at Mordor. They can take care of Adelaide. No change.
