Forward Half Concerns
I am not sure of the value of our forward line. In the three phases of the game - it looks a massive problem. With footy; other than Koz and Fritsch and a healthy brown - they are not natural forwards so they don’t move well together and rarely find space they way other clubs do. Liabilities: ANB, Sparrow, Spargo (unless he has the ball, teams just leave him alone in the F50 and dare us to kick it to him) Without the footy; this is what they are built for - what to do in the Demon Web but that is falling down constantly now. So the one aspect they were great at is now a small nuisance for good teams then they switch and off we go. Liabilities; in theory - no one, but… brown, Fritsch, the others when ball watching. When ball is in dispute; normally I would say this is a strength, but not this year. Their tackling is down while our I50s are up, the pressure rating (even if it confuses your faculties) is indicative of a forward line that doesn’t pressure anywhere near what we did last year. We were one of the worst teams for letting the ball out of our F50 even after our 10 game winnings streak. Liabilities; Brown, Fritsch, Gawn, the others when they are not applying themselves. So I dare say that our forward line will be overhauled for 2023 with possibly different direction. What can Goodwin and co. do in the next month to address some of it…

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
We needed to be more ruthless in front of goals but that doesn’t explain the 96 pts we gave up. Its been a problem all year - but the way we allow the ball to cut through us when we press up so high means that it’s a shot on goal. We are not as disciplined as we were this time last year, we are in the top 4 teams but the Pies have the wood on us. They play the way teams should play us so the FD needs to adjust and quickly.

Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp
Well that’s now corroborated, and it can’t now be compartmentalised as just the indigenous boys struggling with this, as some were intimating. This was personal destruction of the marginalised, regardless of skin colour, although it would help if one was in the majority. Those with a mum, dad, and a ‘normal’ upbringing. What a disgrace. Where is the Dr’s report? Where is the AFL investigation summary? Why is Riccuito still there?

Wells said. This is the stuff we used to lament that we weren’t involved in. Let’s enjoy it - we won’t always win them but that will make the next win that much better and we should be playing these games throughout the Roaring 20s… We’re not smudging the glass looking in anymore, we’re inside the house with our feet up on the ottoman, reading the newspaper, and greeting the Pies as they arrive by peering over our glasses and saying “what took you so long?”- The Run Home
We can win anywhere but getting more Dees fans to the game would be great for the fans and the team.- Farewell Sam Weideman
Not sure if Sam wants to stick around but that is a perfectly capable situation for next year if we get in some back up ruck competition for him.- Farewell Luke Jackson

I don’t really know what that means, if anything.- Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp
That’s a bit different to the formal defensive self-entitled AFL statement…- TEAMS: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Never lies, often misleads… We play this game three times, we win twice - but the other time…- TEAMS: Rd 21 vs Collingwood

It has that feel. The other talls are injured, always injured, out of form/eeek, and a baby…- Membership Tally 2022

Wouldn’t get rid of ABN. He’s needed for taxation purposes.- Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp
On the flip side, I am fairly certain that the ‘leaders’ at the crows dismissed the complaints from Eddie as those of a specific minority and not anything ‘to worry about.’ ’The rest’ of the group hasn’t complained. Eddie and the boys are ‘just being sensitive.’ Eddie should have towed the line, he’s not a leader - let’s remove him from the LG.- CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I think Harmes can only play the Sparrow role. ANB plays a role that releases Petracca and requires him to run up and down the ground. It’s not a plug and play. I can see Brown for Weid and no other change or Harmes for Sparrow… Good problems to have.- Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp
Yeah, a friend of mine worked at AFL House for 6 years and she said it is a toxic boys club. And when she had the gall to procreate they ostracised her and she came back to indifference and zero work as punishment.- CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
They have beaten us the last two times. One of only 7 clubs to beat us the last two seasons. And the only club besides the Bulldogs to beat us in both years. Of course they are going to prefer to play us.- Eddie Betts opens up on the weird camp
Lol. Eddie says that was the rehearsed line they fed them. Different experiences indeed. One person has shown leadership on this.- The No T$ No B$ Thread
