On Kolt, he looks to be a great athlete, very powerful and explosive but did lack composure last year. He'll play half forward and will be able to pinch hit in the midfield. In a team where everyone looks they have eaten sour grapes before the game, his high energy and team focus will be so important. We need a bit of spark and he can provide it.

Howes had a great game in the 2s last week but neither him or TMAC have the strength to tackle with Amiss or Tracey. Either way it's pressure or bust.

Some positivity from Hoyne this week. 3rd fastest ball movement team and 5th best ball movement team. Still a lot to be desired, and it still might be too late in the season for it to matter, but the new system has had some success.

IMO he has played well at Casey this year, attacks the ball well, good size, decent hands and goal sense. Could be worth a rookie spot.

I think we will play one of Langford, Petracca or Kozzy at all times in the game.

It's not the changes I would've made but I get it. We absolutely suck at marking inside 50, so let's run a small forward line to hopefully force better shot selection. I personally don't see Sharp or Spargo in the 22 but our depth is just not where it needs to be, so it is what it is.

A bunch of Hawks like Watson, Meek, maybe even Day are coming out of contact in 25/26. One or two of there best players will be pushed out or be low balled. Edit: they be gunning to land a free agent like Allen or trade for Harley as well.

He's no bargain bin pick up, he'd probably get a contact over 700k. I think the club has identified we don't have enough prime age midfielders and are looking to replenish this area. We may also be planning or expecting trac/koz/Oliver to be involved in a trade end of year.
