  1. If we get done by Gold Coast in 2 weeks, who will likely have come off back to back to back 50+ point losses and were touted to win about 2 games this year, then surely someone’s going to cop a bullet - Ala Neeld for the Dons last year.
  2. We like to trade first rounders for defenders so I’m expecting us to trade our pick 2 for an out of favour Lachie Henderson from Geelong.
  3. Surely May doesn’t get the 4 days off - he apparently had long enough in the off season.
  4. Hawks will probably get Patton for an 8th rd draft pick and then demand a sweetener from GWS.
  5. A couple of weeks of a couple of games? If a couple of weeks, the long break could get him up for GC. But does it really matter at this point?
  6. Thanks mate. Totally forgot about him.
  7. Not sticking up for Misson as he’s run his race here but who aside from Hogan was out injured in last year’s finals?
  8. Harsh mate. He did keep Lynch to 1 goal and quite frankly didn’t do much wrong for the entire night. Deserves votes tonight and may have to say back until May or Lever returns.
  9. We might finally get that pick 1 we’ve been craving!
  10. Anyone give us a sniff V Gold Coast as that might be the closet thing to a win we’ll have for the next 10 weeks.
  11. Any reason why after years of linking arms around each other’s shoulder for the national anthem and Anzac ceremony we decided not to do it this year?
  12. He’ll be happy with that. Can now wear his beloved Richmond scarf and polo to the game.
  13. That would be coaching 101 to have T Mac playing as a defender tonight. Hibberd on Jack Riewoldt or Lynch probably isn’t desirable as we found out last week.
  14. Lucky it wasn’t a set shot.
  15. Any chance Richmond might be a bit knackered from Saturday night and won' have the energy to go on a 16 goal second half avalanche? If that's the case we must stay close with them at half time if we're any chance of a respectable result. Yes I know we alos played on Saturday, but we only ran one way so should have plenty in the tank...
  16. I know right. Puts bank term deposit interest rates to shame. Should really be Richmond $1.10.
  17. Sounds like Hannan and JFK (for anyone that cares) are progressing well and should be back by mid season at latest.
  18. That was supposedly his one point of difference that got him onto an AFL list. Alas his goal kicking has been horrid.
  19. Can’t wait for the Hibberd on Tom Lynch match up.
  20. C Wagner and Spargo need to be dropped. Both caused momentum killing turnovers when the game was slightly on our terms in the first half. If we get spanked this week, then it's time to start dropping a high profile player a week to give them a massive wake up call that's no longer 2018. T Mac, Hibberd and Lewis should be the first 3 casualties.
  21. In fairness, it was us and Richmond who initiated and built the event so I can't see the AFL taking the slot off us on the back of one poor performance.
  22. but encouraging JLT form — without being dominant — showed enough to reinstall confidence in the coaching panel. Tom Morris lost me at this above. I thought our JLT Series was alarm bells and we're getting exactly what was previewed in the pre season games.
  23. Good post. i enjoy posters who provide a description next to the votes.
  24. St Kilda are bloody impressive and will likely finish 6th-8th. We were a disgrace yesterday.
