  1. So Trac has had nearly twice as many shots on goal as Nibbler despite playing mostly in the midfield (until a couple of weeks ago)? Maybe there's that upgrade once Clarry returns!
  2. 182cm is more small than medium. May not be our smallest forward, certainly not a marking medium sized forward like Fritter But good for you binman if your happy with his output
  3. Yeah, you're right binman. He's hit peak form, having a great year. So good below his knees for a small foward, great kick, always hits a target under pressure. That kick to Hunter in the dying moments of the Alice match was all class If we were to trade for Liam Henry, and Chandler continues his improvment, there's the upgrade! Have no doubt he'll play another bunch of afl games, just wanting better output from our most experienced small forward Quick quiz. Which MFC small forward has only kicked 100 goals in 150 games?
  4. Blues fans carrying on in last, lol It's their grand final!
  5. Harmes? Seriously? Nearly as big a momentum killer as Neal-Bullen Gives away stupid frees, makes bad choices, average disposal, poor under pressure Look forward to the day we can upgrade from JH and ANB
  6. A lot of variables in that theory, Red. Anything can happen in 2 years. I'd rather develop Reid with us rather than leave WCE to f[censored] him up, and then us give them a kp gun ready to go
  7. On top of Grundy playing forward for Casey, it was pleasing to see young Jefferson crash a few packs and do some nice things on the weekend. Add a bit more muscle and bigger tank over summer and he's right in the mix for games in 2024 Keep it up young man - you and JVR are the future of our forward line!
  8. Its a rehearsal for him leaving WCE and returning to Vic in a year's time
  9. Either trade up for 1 or stick with 4 and a combo of other selections. Maybe use 16 and 23 to get a better pick. Can't see us trading for 2 or 3 The prospect of using 4 on the tall WA lad might just be the leverage for prizing out pick 1
  10. Speaking demon bloodlines, I read there's a young Alfie Rowley playing for the Vic U12 team. Grandson of the great RDB. Can we start lobbying for a new grandfather/grandson rule? After all, they adapted the rules years ago for RDB himself!
  11. Not sure that offer would add much to the kitty
  12. The positives are that we won games against Coll and Bris without him, and that he will surely be fresh and ready to go when he returns ready for finals Has been great to see Riv, Sparrow, etc lift in his absence Would like Trac to play more forward when Clarry returns
  13. Melb 21 frees, Adelaide 12 frees
  14. I'd rather neither, which is why today was underwhelming
  15. Has had a career best year, especially given Clarry's absence
  16. Well then, you've answered your own question
  17. Yes, I'm aware they beat the Saints. Nice try Doesn't change their ladder position, hence finals chances Or is that in dispute as well?
  18. Agreed. I'd have hoped Melb were significantly better than Adeliade's best, given we are 4th and hoping for another flag But 4 points is always a good outcome
  19. CB for what? I said they are 13th, or is that incorrect?
  20. Really, where did I do that? I simply said they were 13th on the ladder
  21. Plus % Having lost today, they are one game plus % away from 4th last Hypotheticals work both ways!
  22. And Crows got done by the Suns, Dogs, Tigers, and nearly by the Hawks That logic can be used both ways
  23. Adelaide are 13th
  24. Last comment from me. If you are happy with giving up a very good lead in the last, then I'm pleased for your distorted maths I find a come from behind win against a top 3 side more inspiring than nearly giving up a 4 goal lead into the last against a bottom 8 team. That's my preferred maths! Cheers
