Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition

Harley Reid come on down! Or.... we swap pick 1 for three first rounders, as many reports have mentioned. Imagine the premiers having 4 first rounders! Wishful thinking! -
BT is about the only commentator that I mute the tv for. He and Dermie. Both are incredibly painful to the ears

Very good read. Thanks for the link Sue

What they are saying at Lathlain Park
Stiff Arm replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
Depends upon how good a dancer we are -
At the moment it does. Add in the space between Goschs and AAMI and there's tonnes of room. Of course, that means finding alternatives for the other codes using those spaces, or at a minimum, sole use on certain days. A three/four story facility covering car park F should also provide plenty of space for indoor training and admin. Caufield does look good as well. So long as they go over it with due diligence, and then go over the due diligence with due diligence and then go over the due..... you get where I'm going We want something that will give us best facilities in a few years, with scope to improve over the next 20-50 years

Name calling and then boasting about one's education level = fail! I'd totally agree with you after JVR reaches the equivalent of 61 games. Comparing one game to 61 is poor stats, regardless of what's available. Don't need a masters to work that out! Over and out
-
Picking one game as a valid sample size? Computer says no Your knowledge of balanced stat comparison is a lot worse than your ability to hide a bit of Weid bashing
-
Let it go. Weid plays for another club now. We can all move on

If Brown gets up, I think it's Pickett in, JJ becomes sub and Milkshake back to Casey. Its possible that we need a replacement for Pig as well Does this mean a decent spell in the magoos for Tmac?

Not to mention the constant appeals to the umpires that weren't called dissent Exhibit A:

After Clarrie streamed through the middle to kick his first goal a guy in the crowd near me stood up and did the Clarrie finger point around the crowd. Classic!

BTW, it's Sa-lem, not Sayle-em. Emphasis is on the 'lem'. Heard it pronounced by his family

True, but on a case-by-case, year-by-year basis rather than hindsight, otherwise no team would want a no 1 pick ever again -

I know it's not a trading thread, but this would make me AOK with Jackson's departure: Freo's 2023 1st (maybe pick 8), our 2023 1st (15-18) and our 2024 1st (15-18) to Hawthorn for 2023 pick 1. Harley Reid would look great in red n blue Leaves us with two x 2nd rounders this year -

Watch the media blow this completely out of proportion and bring up Entrecote again and again and again. -
You can now get an ointment for that terrible MFCSS you have, od. Put it all over your hands before you touch the keyboard
-
I'm not sure a team that got pantsed as horribly as they did only 3 games ago (not to mention it being the Big Dance) should be as cocky as they are.
-
It's JVR time!

Just a tad ridiculous, even for you Jaded And how do you know he hasn't messaged Max to show concern for his knee? More than likely he has, I'd say
-
Disp looked good in play. Loved the smother he did on the half fwd boundary, showed excellent pressure. Thick, muscley build, which a med fwd prob cannot sustain, perhaps needs to drop a few kg to build a tank. A project player with potential (as much as I dislike that phrase)
