  1. After Clarrie streamed through the middle to kick his first goal a guy in the crowd near me stood up and did the Clarrie finger point around the crowd. Classic!
  2. Grundy a collosus in the ruck today. We'll done young man
  3. BTW, it's Sa-lem, not Sayle-em. Emphasis is on the 'lem'. Heard it pronounced by his family
  4. Wear the best!???
  5. True, but on a case-by-case, year-by-year basis rather than hindsight, otherwise no team would want a no 1 pick ever again
  6. No, this is Binman's van Ruin
  7. I know it's not a trading thread, but this would make me AOK with Jackson's departure: Freo's 2023 1st (maybe pick 8), our 2023 1st (15-18) and our 2024 1st (15-18) to Hawthorn for 2023 pick 1. Harley Reid would look great in red n blue Leaves us with two x 2nd rounders this year
  8. Demeritted Disguised Detective Say that 5 times quickly!
  9. Watch the media blow this completely out of proportion and bring up Entrecote again and again and again.

You can now get an ointment for that terrible MFCSS you have, od. Put it all over your hands before you touch the keyboard
  11. I'm not sure a team that got pantsed as horribly as they did only 3 games ago (not to mention it being the Big Dance) should be as cocky as they are.
  12. It's JVR time!

Just a tad ridiculous, even for you Jaded And how do you know he hasn't messaged Max to show concern for his knee? More than likely he has, I'd say
  14. Disp looked good in play. Loved the smother he did on the half fwd boundary, showed excellent pressure. Thick, muscley build, which a med fwd prob cannot sustain, perhaps needs to drop a few kg to build a tank. A project player with potential (as much as I dislike that phrase)
  15. And in the trade we got 2 x 1st rounders (Jefferson + currently pick 6) plus a 2nd rounder (currently 24) for him. Aaaaaand... we are paying Grundy, a 2 x AA ruckman about the same as what we would've paid Dogga I'm ok with that

    Now you're glass half empty!

I have a couple of North supporting mates. I'm kinda happy for them to win, when we were down for so long these friends were wrapped for our recent success. Still want us to get a % boost when we play them...

    And I like 2-4!

Glass half full: 6-8 means Max will hopefully play the majority of the season. 6-8 means we can try the options of Grundy, Tmac, Schache. One door closes, another opens 6-8 means we give JVR a few games 6-8 means that our centre square mids will need to harden up (tongue in cheek) due to not getting silver service
  20. His set shot reminded me of Gunston's (not the Norman version). Smooth and straight
  21. Dunstan gets a lot of it but his kicking is terrible as soon as any pressure is applied to him. Would rather someone else replace Harmes against Swans Both Schache and JVR look confident and getting plenty of touches. Howes as well Big Bell the ruckman looks like he's worth keeping an eye on
  22. Beautiful set shot routine.
  23. True, but on the flip side, we played terribly, with 3 of our top 8 out (May, Gawn, Salem), away in warm, humid conditions against a near full strength top 4 team, interrupted game... and we came close to beating them. We have to learn to play better without Max, but there are definitely some positives to take out of last night
