I thought Bowey's confidence was looking seriously shaken in the past few weeks as he learnt what it was like to lose - coughing up the ball, shirking contests, showing indecision - but last night he did all we could have asked of him and looked more like the 17 game undefeated champion we've all come to know and love, so I say keep him in. It will be interesting to see how Viney pulls up. That was a hard hit he took and my first thought when I saw him on the ground was he'd ripped his hammy off the bone. Obviously he shook it off and played out the game as though nothing had happened but it may be a different story today. If he goes out we will have to bring Dunstan back in and just hope his poor disposal doesn't hurt us too much. The other question is Salem. Hopefully he's fine but we have either Rivers or Hunt to come in if we need them. I imagine since Hunt was the sub he is seen as next in line, but by all accounts Riv has been improving during his time in the twos and it wouldn't worry me if we brought him in. I thought Salem was looking more settled in his second game back last week and Brown showed some improvement with four scoring shots. With May back in to settle the defence the two big question become can we solve our scoring woes and find a way to kick a winning score and do Weideman and Jackson work as a ruck duo?

I don't think I could handle the build up to that game. Of all the teams, I would hate losing the GF to them most of all. My heart would give out before the first bounce

I'm pretty sure the beanies sold out before the club even received them. There were a small number of scarves left before the Freo game but they too sold out before the game started. It would be great if they ordered more but I fear we will have to wait until next year's indigenous rounds

There were some very angry, ugly, miserable melbourne supporters sitting around me last week who ganged up on a couple of freo supporters for enjoying the second half too much. The freo supporters found it amusing until something one guy said got under on of their skin, and he got real angry accused the Melbourne supporter of being racist and looked ready to throw some punches before he and his friend were escorted out by security. I had brought a friend for her first ever afl game and was mortified. Horrible behaviour from the Melbourne supporters even before they angered the Dockers supporters. Truly embarrassing and shameful

My Narrm beanie finally arrived, one business day too late, but it looks fantastic. Not only does it have our Narrm logo patch on the front but it has a snake devil patch on the back. I wish I had ordered two! Hopefully they'll be back next year

Unfortunately, despite getting an email yesterday from Australia Post saying I could expect my beanie in the mail today, it never arrived. I'll stop by the store on my way to the ground to see if they have any scarves left but I am not hopeful. Dissapointed

Update: I spoke to someone at the shop and they said the beanies arrived at the warehouse today and will be sent off today and tomorrow so there is still a slim chance it will arrive by Friday 🤞🏻

I'm taking a new Zealander to her first afl game against the Dockers. I ordered a narrm beanie for her on the 18th and it looks like it still hasn't been sent so I can't see it arriving on time. I might drop in to the store before the game to see if they have anything on hand. When I ordered the Anzac top it was sent the next day and arrived shortly after. Very dissapointed about the beanie. My friend has Maori heritage so loved the idea of a narrm beanie, plus she works at a cafe in footscray and some of her peers have already tried (and failed) to get her to get behind the dogs - at least partly due to our relationship. I was really looking forward to her wearing the beanie to work. I'm sure it will arrive eventually, but long after the back-to-back Doug Nichols rounds.
