Now that we’ve won the premiership in the men’s
I've been invested in our women's team from the start. After the way the men responded to our 2018 prelim thrashing in 2019 I was hugely dissapointed but my passion for the women's team only grew stronger. The way the men played this year brought me back to these forums for the first time since 2018. Proud to be a demon. I'm still desperate, maybe more so, for our women to win the flag. I couldn't imagine anything better than us being the first club to be reigning premiers in both the men and the women's game. I can't wait for the next season to begin. And I hope Mithin gets to kick a few more goals!

When did the tears start watching the grand final?
The third quarter of the prelim when Max took the game by the scruff of the neck. Then when the 3 quarter time siren went on grand final night. Now every time I hear or even think of the word premiers

The turning point
I'm sitting here listening to the Triple MMM call and Petracca just kicked THAT goal late I'm the third, and the awe and respect in Jason Dunstall's voice has me in tears again. It was our fifth in a row, it took the lead out to two goals and was proceeded by 30 more seconds of brilliance, and I can't help but feel that that was the moment. The next two goals broke the Dogs Petracca's goal was the turning point.

Bontempelli hit and Daniel tackle
Grand final or round 1, you have to protect the head. Remember Troy Simmonds? Bont should get at least a week for that. Hit Clarry in the neck at best. Dangerous, negligent, can't be allowed to happen

Merch/Memorabilia
I'm hanging out to by a reigning premiers jumper next year (with the gold AFL logo) in one of our special editions, indigenous or MFC monogram or something of the like. I said before the game if we win that would be something I would be looking forward forward getting, with the norm Smith medalist's number on the back. Lucky one of ours won the medal! Number 5 it is

I just finished listening to the SEN call and Whateley's commentary as the siren sounded and the celebrations began had me sobbing. "At the final bell"...can't be a coincidence. It appears he's familiar with our second verse- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs

I highly recommend watching the replay over the live recording. Ad free. Check out the look in Petracca's eyes after he kicks that dribbler near the end of the third. He looks like he could run through a brick wall and rip the head off a buffalo. Channel 7 cuts to an ad and you completely miss it- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs

I was so nervous the first time. Just finished watching the replay. Sobbing. Ecstatic. Enamoured. Overawed. I want to go out and celebrate. I want to walk through the streets singing the song j till my voice is gone. What an amazing team we've built. I can't wait until we can all gather together to honour them- GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
She's great! I saw her perform in Melbourne a few years ago. I just hope she doesn't play Cast That Devil Out- GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs

- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - NEVILLE JETTA
What a champion Jetta has been for us. I have a feeling once the dust settles he'll be announcing his retirement but is sticking with the team until our 2021 journey comes to an end. At his best Jetta was a fantastic defender and one of few leaders to stand out and stick tough over the past 15 years. A great role model for our younger boys, indigenous or not. Thank your for service Neville- Flying the flag
