CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
I seem to recall him being in good form before his injury. Might be worth checking out his second to last game for us

Fill the āGā
I was happy to stay at home and watch it from the comfort of my couch but my dad bought us tickets so I will drag myself to the game and sit quietly in my seat until the team does something worth cheering. A lot of people on here have it backwards. The crowd makes noise so the team plays well? It's the other way around

2022 Finals Tickets
It sounded to me like we made plenty of noise a couple of nights ago. If you really think the crowds are to blame for the team's weak performances then you're delusional

GAMEDAY: QF vs Sydney
I've loved listening to everyone on the radio under-estimating us today. Our team is built for finals, and we are about to remind everyone just what we are capable of. I just got home from work, am having a quick pit-stop and then I'm rushing off to the game. See you there soon!

TEAMS: QF vs Sydney
JVR now seems ahead of Weid in the eyes of the club

Tom McDonald
The deeper we get into the finals series the better he's going to get and I find it a reassuring thought to know we have him sitting in our back pocket

2022 Membership scarfs
My niece claimed mine! Next year I'll be getting one for each of us

Fly The Flag in 2022
I put the first flag up after round 23. I put the second flag up after our QF and our GF rematch. I have 4 more posts ready

CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
I seem to recall his last few games before injury were good. He offers a valuable target through the ground, a strong body to compete and he has experience and the respect of the group. I think your comment says more about your memory than it does about his playing ability

CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
Spargo & ANB are crucial cogs in the team balance. They aren't Petraccas or Oliver's. They are as better than the next option as Trac & Clarry are better than them. We take them out and we will be poorer for it

TEAMS: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
I'm not unhappy with the change but you have to feel for JJ. Spent most of last year as the sub, including the GF, manages to play in the 22 most games this year and now, on the eve of the finals, it looks like he might be warming the bench again

CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
I don't know why he came off but he was standing ready to come back on on the sidelines for a long time while the play was stuck on the other side of the ground

Demons won't win the flag in 2022.
We look tired. We give everything to only get our noses in front, cling desperately to our lead and watch it slip between our fingers. Those moments of dominance where we pile on goals in a short amount of time are almost non-existant. We looked good recently against Brisbane and Freo but neither of those teams pushed us. Every time we come up against resistance we stumble. No come-from behind wins this year. The only games we've looked half decent we have been playing against badly out-of-form teams. This is not the same team or competition as 2021. I haven't been able to see us winning it this year for a while but I keep telling myself anything is possible with this group if only we can get a few things right. I will be very, very surprised if we win the flag this year

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I tend to park in a side street on the east side of Punt Road and north of Bridge Road. 20 minute walk to the ground. Plenty of alternative escape routes that avoid Punt Road traffic

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I thought you were talking about Joel Smith? Unfortunately McDonald is the only forward on our list who seems capable of it
-
CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
The last time we played them our defence buckled, our structure unravelled and the rolled us. Unless we get very unlucky with injuries it won't happen twice

Fill the āGā
We were spoiled with home games in the first half of the season but it's been a while since our last one and we only have two more games at the 'G and then the next time we go will be The Finals 2022. I think the weather, scheduling, cost & inconvenience, will all be dulled by The Occaison. This is it; we're in the endgame now. We need to build momentum and hit the finals running. We need to put fear back in the opposition. Get behind the boys. Cheer them on. Lift them up. Go Dees

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I don't know if Harmes should come straight back in to the team but I do know that he's a proven finals player and if we do call on him he will give us his everything and we have nothing to worry about.

Daisy's commentary
Unfortunately since that call I've noticed that almost any time someone kicks a goal he goes "bang". Cheapens it a little for me. Not that moment (praise Clarry!) but Brayshaw's work

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Before the game today I'll be dropping in to the place I was house-sitting at back in July 2017 when McDonald kicked THAT goal. That might be one of my most vivid football memories. I'll be moving in with their new dog for the first time since '17 on September 26th this year, 2 days after the GF. Let's hope it will be equally as memorable. And let's hope we break our NT drought today

What They Are Saying at Moorabool Street
In their defence it was 1 v 6 (or something like that) when they scheduled it
-
CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Ben Brown halved just about every contest he was in tonight, and most of the time the ball spilled to our advantage, which was no accident. He isn't marking many but he is feeding our ground players. You all are mad. Without him we would have lost tonight

Sean Wight
I always wanted to name my first son Sean (not Shaun) because this courageous man captured my imagination as a child. Now I don't actually want kids at all, but I still have a soft spot for our brave Irish Scotsman. R.I.P.
