Everyone left when the players finished up but I stayed and watched the Casey boys for a bit. Not because I’m a dedicated fan but because my Gosch’s girls are crushing hard on Kolt and wanted to stay and watch him. I thought a Rooey fix would’ve been enough for them, but clearly not. Oh, to be 17 again.

I wouldn’t mention it since it seems some people believe it shouldn’t have happened. ☹️

I met a lovely couple from WA at Gosch’s. It’s their daughter’s eighth birthday and to celebrate they’ve come over for training today and the match tomorrow. Demonland readers but not posters. Just wanted to let you guys know it was awesome to meet you and I apologise for running off suddenly but there were players to annoy. 😝 Enjoy the match tomorrow!

Here’s my comment about training…they trained. That’s pretty much all I’ve got because I saw Kev there and asked him to do a training report. 😁 I did watch a loooong session of some of the boys taking shots at goal. Two words: Chin Chandler. Nailing shots from the boundary on ridiculous angles, a joy to behold. You don’t need to watch Chin kicking for goal because as soon as it leaves his boot he knows if it’s going through in which case he’s silent. But if it’s not going through be lets loose with a very loud “OH [censored]!!!” 😂
