Same enjoyment… honestly, a win is enjoyable whether I stand to gain money or not. But a loss is devastating, microscopically less so when I haven’t lost any money and have indeed gained money. If I backed us, and we lost to, say, 🤮Essendon 🤮 I’d be extra filthy about it. That’s just not worth the risk.

It’s not about money though. Yes there’s money involved but a Demons win with winnings is exactly the same as a Demons win without winnings, to me anyways. Besides, if it hasn’t been proved already, this season proves that the whole underdog thing means nothing.

I do. But that has no bearing on who I think will win. I do it to soften a loss even though I go into every week expecting a win. It’s the cushion effect. 👍🏽

I’ve heard this rumour and I don’t think there’s any truth to it. Everyone was at training today and everyone looked just fine. The mood was great and the energy was infectious (poor choice of word 🤭). If anyone had Covid, they sure hid it well. edit: that extends to the Casey players as well. They trained immediately after the firsts. All were there and no one was unwell.
