  1. Go Daise!!! first goal and it’s her 50th game. ❤️💙
  2. Just as important as a player’s on-field skills are his unselfishness and his prioritising of teammates first at all times. Max helping the Hayes boy finish the race, thereby finishing later than he otherwise would’ve, speaks absolute volumes. It’s that heart thing that we always talk about and look for.
  3. I know I’m biased but only 5% voted for Tayla 😑 Results AFLW Round 7 MOTY
  4. Very much looking more and more like no. 2 💩 PS I chose your original point no. 2 only because you used the word “shenanigans” 😁
  5. Geez I hope we get up tonight. Another result like last week’s would be great. I think we can do it! GO DEES! ❤️💙🌈❤️💙
  6. In terms of having to speak with happiness and positivity when your heart has only just begun mending, Brodie did really well in this video. Perhaps he knows already he’s come to the right place. 💝 Hashtag Mended Hearts ‘R’ Us 😊
  7. When something is funny af but you can’t be seen laughing at it coz unladylike 🫣🤭
  8. Sammie Johnson’s injury is listed as “personal” which in this case is pregnancy. First ever AFLW player to have played while pregnant. I’m surprised it’s taken seven seasons for this to happen.
  9. And I could say #11 is the most special. It’s subjective to a degree. I agree #2 is indeed very special and any player would likely be honoured to receive it. But with that honour comes pressure. A lot of pressure. And players, in particular young players, already feel the weight of pressure without the attendant added pressure that comes with expectations.
  10. The same can be said about #11 and #13, though. That’s just two. Where does it end? On your second point, this is precisely why a number SHOULDN’T be regarded as any more special than the others. imho anyways. 🙂
  11. My son has to re-introduce himself to his teachers regularly. He’ll still pass with flying colours. 😂 Just read Kat’s comment (above) and now I kinda feel bad. 😬
  12. Same. I also feel for Saints supporters. They’ve suffered long enough as it is (as Dees supporters we can certainly relate) and now this. 😢 In particular, I really feel for their cheer squad members. They don’t get much support from their club. Their storage unit was broken into in January and a lot of their stuff was stolen, they didn’t have much to start with anyways. But they do an awesome job despite all this.
  13. I don’t think Tom would want to change numbers. He won a premiership playing in his current number. I also don’t think Joel would want #29 as there’s the potential for comparison to his dad.
  14. If you already have a jumper or you’ve bought one from somewhere other than the Demon Shop, you can purchase the iron-on numbers online or at OfficeWorks or art n craft type shops. They’re only a few bucks each but your iron at home isn’t powerful enough so you need to get them pressed professionally. I was charged $25 for this. That was four years ago so I imagine it’s even more expensive now.
  15. We made this Progress Pride flag for this week’s banner… ❤️💙 Daisy’s 50th game ❤️💙 Spewing it’s not at home but hoping many QLD Dees can get to Metricon to support our awesome girls! GO THE MIGHTY DEES!!!
  16. Definitely. I just renewed and you do have to click on “yes” to the question “would you like to have a plastic card?” Otherwise, it defaults to “no” I think.
  17. Sure is! 😃 I’m not a participant though, purely a spectator. I can’t speak for the others.
  18. Yep. Just gotta scan the barcode. The plastic card is no longer for the purpose of a souvenir.
  19. Someone just suggested “Shaq Attack” 😳 Hopefully they’re kidding.
  20. This quote is from…???? Coz we’re defs making one. 😁 Tacky or not. I thought Fritsch Blitz was tacky until I befriended Fritta’s mum. And she loves that banner so I’m not saying [censored]. 😁
  21. We’ve got someone getting ready to sew a new mini-banner for the cheer squad already with this exact same wording! She misspelled Schache just as you’ve done so I pointed it out telling her that after all, we don’t wanna be confused with the Coll or Ess cheer squads. 😁
  22. Not sure any of the DA girls noticed the pooch’s glasses. Nor the pooch for that matter.
