  1. LOL I was the same before I ever got to know a single one of them. Only now it’s more so. The critique is tolerable. The insensitive comments aren’t.
  2. Ima hafta bring out THREE Irish flags this season! And you know what? The girls are welcome to keep them at season’s end. I’ve plenty more where they came from. ☘️ 🇮🇪 ❤️💙
  3. Which is some way off now since I just got the results of my mammo and I’m so happy and relieved that the cancer hasn’t returned! And just like this time last year I’m telling DL before telling even my own sons!😆 Maybe I shouldn’t spend so much time on DL 🤔 Yeah nah. 💜
  4. I’m so over the (sometimes thinly veiled) player bagging. Especially the likes of Harmsey. He is arguably the most popular amongst the players (he and Salo, actually) because of his forever upbeat mood and the fun he brings to the group, always. He’s a fiercely loyal friend (some of the stories I’ve heard would melt your heart) and for him to be out for personal reasons is really sad because it must be pretty serious. People should think before they post. Or even not post it at all. And Soz if I sound like a broken record but I’ll defend players like Harmesy, Melks and all the other whipping boys ‘til the end. So get used to it y’all. 😠
  5. Geez the compassion shown here is off the [censored] charts. You don’t know why Harmesy’s not available. Nor do I. But how about erring on the side of he may’ve suffered a personal loss, for example?
  6. Sound guy be like ‘Marra, stop hitting the table!!!
  7. He’s only 20yo but so mature. Good on him! Played so well tonight, five goals and the best part is they beat the Lions. #BurstTheLionsBubble
  8. Hold on, Doggies! I [censored] hate Brisbane.
  9. He’s probably right. I can’t see why he’d give you a bum steer. But if I hear anything different I’ll let you know. 👍🏽
  10. Not sure yet PF, but my training go-to thinks there’s no training at Casey tomorrow. He thinks it’s on Friday at Gosch’s. He’s waiting to hear back from the Club.
  11. ‘Tis a well-oiled machine, Azz. Well, not always, but we manage to churn out an impressive banner every week, which is more than what some clubs do. Brisbane and Geelong (just to name two) only make banners for milestone games. It helps that the MFC is extremely supportive in every way (including financially) and that we have a triumvirate of exceptional leaders. Every other cheer squad should be so lucky. ❤️💙
  12. Happy to do this! But defs not for praise. We do it purely because we love doing it and yes, it’s hard work, especially when not many rock up, but to spend the evening with a bunch of the most one-eyed passionate Dees nuffies on earth is so much fun. Not many of us live in or near Collingwood but it’s totes worth the trip… even on a godforsaken replacement freaking bus. 😑
  13. I did, because that’s what I call Clayton. He likes it (no surprise since he’s so agreeable) as well as “Clazz” which I think he likes best.
  14. That song and Sweet Caroline are two of their players’ goal celebration songs. Their music guy totally phoned it in because during the outage they played those two songs several times each and nothing else. We also made up some chants along the lines of Your Stadium Sucks and Give us the Olympics, and a long drawn out Suuunnnncccooorrrp! 😁 The bay directly behind and overlooking us was filled with their fans. They tried drowning us out but gave up when they realised we were a bay full of energiser bunnies, on speed. 🥳
  15. Done! It can be on the day of, or the following day. Gotta abide by the rules. 👍🏽
  16. We had nonstop fun during the outage on Friday night. Here’s an example… https://streamable.com/fbmkne 🎶 Country road, take me home to the place I belong. Back to Melbourne, where we have power… 🎶 😜🥳🤩
  17. It hasn’t been made yet, but it will be a fitting tribute to Clarrie in pics. Will be made tomorrow night. Defs a sneak peek then! Just don’t show anyone, ok?! 😁
  18. Mrs Fritta’s 50th was held at the Coldstream FC. I was standing looking up at the honours board, framed jumpers etc. when a bloke came and stood next to me. We chatted for a bit about footy and life in general. He asked me how I knew Pauline. I told him how we became friends through the cheer squad. I asked him the same thing. He said, “our kids play footy together.” I says, “yeah? What’s your kid’s name?” He says, “Clayton.” On the outside I was like “so you’re Clarrie’s dad, cool.” But on the inside I had stopped breathing and was going into mild cardiac arrest knowing I was in the presence of the creator of greatness. My poker face clearly betrayed me coz then he said, “we’re just a regular ordinary family. Nothing special.” So it’s no wonder Clarrie is as down to earth and humble as he is. Incidentally, both of his parents speak clearly, so I guess that trait must skip a generation. 😂
  19. As have I. Twice. On both occasions I wasn’t informed I had amassed the maximum demerit points, only to find out when pulled over.
