Training Ground?
Iām not a religious person but I pray the club has the vision to nominate the Caulfield Racecourse as the preferred location. An almost exclusive facility that is in supporter heartland. Public transport on the doorstep, potential partnership opportunities with Monash University with physio or medical. Room to build an elite facility now with ability to expand in the future. Can have a MCG sized oval to train on with another oval that we can interchange to replicate dimensions of away grounds eg GMHBA. Too much politics and red tape at Goschās and is limited in use and potential. Please Melbourne FC get it done!!!!!

Kysaiah Pickett on report
Serious question. Have we ever appealed a tribunal decision. I would have contested both length of ANB suspension and the Kade Chandler suspension. I genuinely canāt remember us contesting a decision. We are a very ānice clubā Good thing we are a football club and not a cricket club because we donāt appeal. In this case if Kossie was consulted and satisfied that will do me. If not we should have at least had a go at getting it down to a 1 game suspension.

Kysaiah Pickett on report
Do I think he should get a suspensionā¦.yes. But I would be appealing the level of impact and see if we can get 2 weeks down to one. This is a bloke that we are absolutely desperate to sign a new contract, or do we roll over on that as well. we have nothing to really lose by appealing but potentially a lot to lose if we donāt. Pretty confident the big clubs would appeal. Will not appealing be the difference between Kossie staying or goingā¦ā¦no. But having his back and at least asking the question might help to get him to sign on.

POSTGAME: Match SIM vs St. Kilda
100% this!!!!! He will also bring that defensive pressure in the forward line which was lacking big time last year. As long as he keeps it simple and plays to his strengths will be dangerous with that bit of X factor. Also loving having Kossie and Riv rotate through the mids once again providing a different look there with speed and X factor. On paper our forward line is really imposing but doesnāt quite play like it. It is the missing link and if we can get to a stage where we sort out the delivery, the leading patterns ensuring our key talls have separation and our smalls are in the right spot. If we get back to playing selfless footy there providing blocks etc then I am certain we will break our premiership drought. Great that Chocco is the specialist goal kicking coach but I would have loved for us to invest in the off season in a specialist forward line coach or at least swap Yze and Stafford with Yze taking forwards and Stafford mids which makes sense as thatās where they played their footy. Early days though and it was a pretty good start.Give āem Hellā¦..again

Choco Williams is the New Goal Kicking Coach
Hope he does play, he had front row tickets to the Bang, Bang, Bang show being in the midfield at the time.

What I'd Like to See from the MFC in Twenty Twenty Three
1/ Better player management; that is both injury management and performance management. 2/ Play with a more attacking mindset, last year we were far too conservative 3/ A better functioning forward line. If we do all of the above then I believe we will win the premiership in 2023.

Really sorry for both you and your son. On a positive note at least you can say youāve spent more time on Goschās Paddock this pre season than Joel Smith. Hope the club makes it up to you.

Maybe we should hide him at Mansfield and let him kick 25 goals in a game, surely nobody will notice

- Are we the slowest side?
100% this. What is JJ or any of our mids meant to do when more often than not our forwards push so high up the ground. Would love to see 3 stay at home forwards, isolate Kossie, isolate Fritsch and heaven forbid that we actually played to Ben Browns strengths and kicked the ball to him one on one or in a lead to space situation. Our forward line set up and leading patterns are poor. I am hoping that Santa leaves a āspecialistā forward line coach Under the MFC Christmas tree- Training Ground?
Maybe we should invite them around for a spliff- Not AFL
Very ordinary scenes. Puts our title of worlds friendliest city in jeopardy.- The 2023 AFL Fixture
Can you blame our fans when games are scheduled down there on a Thursday night, plus our ticket allocation is reduced due to the taxpayer funded ground enhancements that they are receiving down thereā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦again.- The 2023 AFL Fixture
Well we didnāt have to wait too long for it. #freekickbulldogs- Who missed out in the drafts?

ESPN and its employees should stick to American sports- 2022 AFL NATIONAL ROOKIE DRAFT
Agree Dazzle. Although short he is strongly built, clean with the ball and makes good decisions. He is also a quality leader that is a highly competitive type. Played as a mid that went forward for Caulfield Grammar. The one thatās got me surprised though is another Caulfield boy inMitch Szybkowski. I thought we may have a nibble as he trained with us and is a very Melbourne type player and did some training with us pre season. For rookies a developing ruck but we have lost a bit of foot speed over the trade period so if we can find someone that will provide a bit of outside run with x factor then I think we will have a balanced list.- DRAFT DAY TWO: THE 2022 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT
I hope we fix that next year by getting Nick Watson - Are we the slowest side?
