  1. Our problem is we have too much of the same, one paced contested ball winning bulls who aren’t winning the contested ball and when they do there is no connection with the forward line they just blindly bomb it in. There is no balance in our midfield or depth of midfield just more one paced contested ball winning players.Where is the speed and silk. We have 2 All Australian ruckman that should be providing silver service and we are not getting bang for our buck in the midfield, this group should be better but at the moment they are not.
  2. I really want to be optimistic about this but people saying this could be a blessing in disguise. An opportunity to try something different, I really hope so. I hope we try Rivers, Chandler, Bowie, Kossie something different someone with pace or a remote bit of x Factor as I believe our midfield is same same. But until our kick ins from full back go anywhere other than the left I hold very little hope of us trying anything different.
  3. Really disappointed in the South Australian trio of Kozzie, Nibbler and Chin last night. In conditions they should have revelled in. They should have had blue balls but didn’t fire a shot.
  4. For this reason I want Nick Watson next year. Height aside he has speed, X factor and class. Our midfield is not balanced enough and our smalls are not getting to the drop of the ball.
  5. We allow far too much uncontested possession. Any team with a bit of foot speed and decent use by foot will carve us up. Too many one paced plodders in the team.
  6. Melbourne Football Club. The true custodians of Australian Rules Football.
  7. 90 minutes to decide if it is “almost always inevitable” Seriously WTF does that mean anyway
  8. I brought one as well and have my replica tile at home. Got to have my photo taken with Neale Daniher at the event.
  9. I [censored] love my football club!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Change AFLW competition name to AFLF (AFL Female) The AFLW can be the corporate brand of the overall game AFL Woke.
  11. Happy to donate to the club as a go fund me to appeal this decision not only to defend one of our own but for the overall fabric of the game
  12. RIP Australian Rules Football
  13. Brown in to take the better defenders and relieve pressure on JVR and use his height to hopefully draw free kicks. But he needs to start showing more intensity and if not then I would consider going smaller with Melksham with our mids instructed to lower the eyes. Some serious heat needs to go onto the rest of the forward line to apply pressure down there because Ben Brown won’t. Zero tackles again from Bailey is not good enough whether he impacts the scoreboard or not.
  14. Love your work Dutchy, must be the cookies.
  15. Ouch Fez. I think as punishment Kozzy should sign a long term contract to stay at Melbourne
  16. You can tell at a Perth Hospital maternity ward what team a newborn baby will barrack for. If it cries it’s a docker and if it boo’s it’s an eagle.
  17. Really like the look of Cross. Has a touch of Kade Chandler about him.
  18. I’m not a religious person but I pray the club has the vision to nominate the Caulfield Racecourse as the preferred location. An almost exclusive facility that is in supporter heartland. Public transport on the doorstep, potential partnership opportunities with Monash University with physio or medical. Room to build an elite facility now with ability to expand in the future. Can have a MCG sized oval to train on with another oval that we can interchange to replicate dimensions of away grounds eg GMHBA. Too much politics and red tape at Gosch’s and is limited in use and potential. Please Melbourne FC get it done!!!!!
  19. If they drop Chandler then I will be as mad as hell.
  20. [censored] crowd. Why would you watch the Bronco’s and Dolphins live when you could watch the Mighty Dee’s!!!!!!
  21. Happy 50th Game Harry Petty. Stick it up em!!!!
  22. Serious question. Have we ever appealed a tribunal decision. I would have contested both length of ANB suspension and the Kade Chandler suspension. I genuinely can’t remember us contesting a decision. We are a very “nice club” Good thing we are a football club and not a cricket club because we don’t appeal. In this case if Kossie was consulted and satisfied that will do me. If not we should have at least had a go at getting it down to a 1 game suspension.
  23. Do I think he should get a suspension….yes. But I would be appealing the level of impact and see if we can get 2 weeks down to one. This is a bloke that we are absolutely desperate to sign a new contract, or do we roll over on that as well. we have nothing to really lose by appealing but potentially a lot to lose if we don’t. Pretty confident the big clubs would appeal. Will not appealing be the difference between Kossie staying or going……no. But having his back and at least asking the question might help to get him to sign on.
  24. I’m calling B.S on this. Collingwood supporters can’t read.
