  1. Will need to do reactive change of direction stuff and then start some contact work before getting the all clear.
  2. Excuse my ignorance on this but do we really need a tunnel to get from our admin building to the middle of the track. It’s not like we would be training in the middle of a race meet. Sure a tunnel would be nice but if that is what the hold up is let’s just pass and build the [censored] thing. Members of the community can use the existing tunnels to access the middle of the track, players and staff could use a gate and walk across the track to get there.
  3. A fair few people live from Port Melbourne down to Mornington. Yet St.Kilda get the rest of the Mornington Peninsula off of Melbourne. We just keep Casey. Makes zero sense. The AFL threw a dart. There was absolutely no justification for taking the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League off Melbourne as a zone.
  4. It is great, Liv is without a doubt my favourite Melbourne AFLW player. I can relate to her journey as I have been witnessing it with my daughter who did her ACL and torn meniscus in the second quarter of her Grand Final in 2024 missing all of this season. It’s a graft and inspirational to watch the journey. Both will come back physically stronger and more resilient for the experience.
  5. Corey will still be in our NGA. Stingrays had a shocker this year not on male player drafted. Hopefully he has more luck than his brother.
  6. You’re right Dazzle, pure red mist on my behalf.
  7. My mistake, was pure red mist when I saw the changes but didn’t see the transition date at the end of the article. We should be able to draft Prasaad. Make no mistake though we have absolutely been bent over here again. Interesting that Darwin is not allocated to anyone, especially as it was taken off us for Gold Coast. Not that I want it back either….just interesting.
  8. Time to pack it in with the academies. We were denied MAC Andrew, had Darwin as a zone taken off us and given to the Suns and now have the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football league which is a strong competition taken off us and get SFA in return. Good thing we stocked up on smalls in the last draft because we won’t be getting Marcus Prasaad. Equalisation……Bollocks.
  9. No Dazzle but make no mistake we have been screwed over. Our region is the South East Juniors Comp only which is not a particularly strong competition.St Kilda have now got the Mornington Peninsula Juniors, Frankston and Districts Juniors and a large portion of the South Metro Juniors. Stingrays zone is SEJ, MPJFL, FDJFL.
  10. Looks like Hibbins-Hargreaves is off to the WAFL. Has family over there.
  11. St Kilda have been kissed on the (censored) gaining the Mornington Peninsula and keeping Bayside. Huge region choc full of talent. Screwed again by the AFL.
  12. I like it Picket, glad you are on board. I thought you would have been backing up a truck load of manure to dump at the MCG, AAMI Park, Gosch’s, Casey and Caulfield because we didn’t draft a midfielder.
  13. We never played a style conducive to tall forwards. With an attacking game plan and fast ball movement with better disposal into a forward line with structure we will learn about the forwards on our list. I think JVR is set for a break out year in 2026 now that he is not taking the number 1 defender and quick entries into the forward line where he is not constantly outnumbered.
  14. I see this phantom draft and I see Dovaston and Grlj the selections immediately after ours. I feel queasy.
  15. On a side not Melbourne has been reprimanded over its handling of Eden Zanker concussion. GAGF AFL. And have a good look at yourself with your [censored] umpiring and scheduling. Give em Hell Dee’s.
  16. Full credit to the girls and thoroughly deserved. They are great ambassadors for our club. With the outs I thought they were up against it but should have known better than to doubt the character of this team and I won’t so I’m calling it now it’s HOO ROO to the Roo’s.There are not enough superlatives to describe Kate Hore the footballer.
  17. Simply need more from more for longer to get the win. Goldy back is a good in but will miss Zanker and Chaplin again. Can’t rely on Hore to be your main score source and midfield clearance source. Need to win the midfield battle and hope for big games from Harris, Wotherspoon (who has been very good). Gall needs to step up and Bannan needs a rocket for us to be any chance in this one. Hope I’m wrong but I think the crows will be a bit too good in this one.
  18. Good Analysis but not many surprises. But [censored] me I have never seen a ceiling fan spin so fast.
  19. Hope we go mids this year but next year would love Wil Malady as a forward. Will give King a year to bed in game plan then time to cull forwards that aren’t up to it and find and develop replacements for Melksham and Chekkers.
  20. I’m all for Paddy the Baddy’s UFC walk out song Failing that one way ticket to hell and back by the Darkness
  21. 6/ Hore 5/ McNamara 4/ Gillard 3/ Wotherspoon Genuinely can’t do a 2/ and a 1/ too many cameo performances only. Herein lies the problem. Not enough four quarter contributions, need more support.
  22. His younger brother Corey plays as a midfielder. Slightly taller than Tairon at same age but not as thick set in build.
  23. I hope the club has been on the phone seeking clarity around Zanker’s availability this morning. Obviously her wellbeing is the number one priority especially in light of what happened to the Storm player while on national duty for Tonga.
