  1. Don’t get me wrong BBO, it was an incorrect decision and the Spargo decision was a howler. We just didn’t deserve to win that game IMHO. We were out worked, made crucial errors and had players well off their game which proved costly. To be 16 up late in the last and drop it, just shows where we were at tonight. I look forward to seeing how we react next week.
  2. Spot on, especially in the first half. Should never have been in the position to have to rely on those decisions late in the game to win. We were 16 points up with 7 minutes to go.
  3. @John Demonic but...but Don’t make me angry said “YoU wILl EaT YOuR wOrDs”.
  4. You’re right, I was probably over zealous using that word. I was using it more to emphasise the counter argument. I’ll correct myself and say ‘very good’ for his size. Naitanui and Jackson are on another level in that regard.
  5. I’m taking the peace wwsw. But at times today it felt like we were playing an intestate team there was that little noise.
  6. Was good of the 3,800 Carlton supporters from their loyal “70,000” membership to show up today also.
  7. He is 200cm tall. He may appear slow, but his work at ground level, including tackling is exceptional for his size.
  8. 38

    6. Oliver 5 Lever 4 Salem 3 McDonald 2 Hunt 1 Spargo
  10. P2J is Petraccattack. Nothing surer.
  11. Genuinely think we will drop this one. Hoping I’m wrong.
  12. Defensive set up aside, you mention it being a lot to do with the team. His lack of intensity around the ball including pressure on the opposition and inability to lay tackles is a real concern. I watch him closely and Angus is often happy to stand idle as soon as the ball clears his area. That in itself isn’t great for the team. It’s lazy. I like Gus, but I’m not as impressed with his output as much as you are.
  13. I was behind the goals at the Punt Road end in corporate box eating duck and copious Asahi stubbies as I looked down on the plebs. Tough game to watch, but I’ll bank the 4 points. Seriously thought we would get rolled from late in the third quarter, but we managed to hold them at bay despite momentum. Centre clearances are a massive concern. What is the point in having Gawn in there when we can’t win the ball at ground level. He has been poor. I legitimately feel more at ease with Jackson in the middle. We miss Tomlinson badly. Lever can’t play the role we want him to play again (yet), without him there. Thank Christ for Oliver. Bloke literally got us over the line and May also a great job on Buddy keeping him at bay. Can’t lie...for some reason I’m really concerned about the Carlton game.
  14. The number of memes I currently have in my head involving Haymes white paint, which would in-turn result me in being banned (if created and posted) is frightening.
  15. Amazing what winning games of football can do....

Out - Tomlinson, Baker In - Weid, Sparrow If Fritta gets rubbed out then Chandler or Harmes.
  17. Could not kick a drop punt that [censored] head.
  18. Bloke plays with zero intensity. Like watching someone in slow motion.
  19. Best 6 possession game I reckon I’ve seen.

  21. Just trudged home as [censored] as a mule from Eltham Station. It was a bizarre experience tonight. I went in slightly nervous, but un-Melbourne like calm before the game. I expected a loss but was prepared to wear it knowing we were 5-0. I just wanted a strong performance and to get within 3 goals In the first 15 minutes I prepared myself for the absolute worst and for a barrage for messages from Tigers mates who I had been baiting all week. Well...FMD. All of a sudden the feeling I’ve had for the past 5 weeks overwhelmed me. The feeling of confidence in knowing the boys would apply relentless pressure at all times causing turnovers, in-turn linking up and hitting targets just warmed the cockles. We actually made Richmond look stupid. They didn’t even look like scoring and when they did we had an extra man back to mop up their disgusting bile. Hats off to all the boys on tonight’s effort. Christian Salem should have won the medal but well done to Trac. Special mention to the young boys Dogga who (in my opinion) changed the game in the second and Rivers. Both ahead of their time. Go you Demons! I’m off to eat dim sims and burnt chips.
  22. This bloke turned the tide of the game in the second quarter.
