No problems here either. Standard level 3 seats for me, for both the GWS and Richmond games. How goods the Frank Grey Smith Bar, only $15 for a dim sim that’s been sitting there for 19 hours.

When Brown and Lever return, on current form there is no spot for McDonald. I would rather leave Weid in the side. There is zero point in letting him languish in the twos. It’s now or never. The fact McDonald has a contract until the end of 2024 is concerning.

Interesting story about Jake. Heading into the tail end of the season last year, the coaches identified that although we were still winning, we weren’t kicking enough goals. They believed we needed another playmaker off half back to assist Salem, because the ball wasn’t being delivered into our forward line quick enough to benefit Ben Brown and give him the best opportunity to be one out. Although Jake wasn’t our best performing Casey player at the time, he was identified as the player to assist us with that given his disposal, footy smarts and ability to win a one one contest. Immediately we started kicking higher scores. The rest is history…

GAMEDAY: AFLW Preliminary Final vs Brisbane Lions
Beetle replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
She is an absolute jet. A pure footballer. -

Yeah I’m not questioning his defensive efforts, he just needs to get involved more around the fall of the ball.

Bank the 4 and a great deal of regrouping required before Port in 6 days. Last week likely took it’s toll but there’s adjustments to be made and some players that need a bit of a rocket. Lever et al. can’t come back soon enough and once Brown returns, TMac is on borrowed time given Weid’s performance. I simply believe he adds nothing for us if he can’t take a mark anymore. Pickett can’t live off occasional displays of brilliance for much longer either.

*never played.

Once BBB and Lever are back I’d prefer to leave Weid in the side and let TMac see out his time at Cranbourne. Time to move on…he simply serves no purpose anymore when he can’t hold a mark.

Should be eight goals in front. Playing like they think they’re millionaires. Pull your heads in and rip their bloody throats out!

By far the most putrid club in the competition.
-
Harmes more likely. ….as I’ve said before, Club are resigned to losing 1-2 best 25 players at the end of this year to free up space.

Aside from wanting to stab my eyeballs out with a fork, we take the win in trying conditions and move on. Depleted backline and plenty of players down tonight. Not often you’ll see Gawn or even Langdon play games like that. Sadly though TMac is on borrowed time and Hunt just isn’t best 22 once players return. Suns played exceptionally well and will scare a lot of teams this year. Their defensive effort was top notch and it might have been a different result if King was playing. Move on and let’s hope we can deal those parasites a 0-3 start to the season next week.

Bedford might have more SuperCoach points than Tmac, Gawn and Brown combined.
-
Safe to say I will never watch this game on replay.
-
Bowey is a footballer, Hunt isnt.
-
The amount of ball watching going on from our players is disgraceful.
-
How much will you all pay me to invent a Dermott Brereton mute button?
-
It’s only a matter of time before TMac no longer gets a game.
-
If he’s in our best 22 we are not travelling well.
-
Looks like a PCL. If so that could potentially be a 6-10 game stint on the sidelines. if that’s the case I’m surprised he played given the strapping he already had on it.
-
Langdon is unstoppable

Dogs don’t have players capable of “bashing” anyone. Compared to us they are about as physical as Olivia Newton-John’s film clip.

*and yes I’m aware it’s “bass”.
