I met Noel at a couple of cricket club functions eight or nine years ago. Rather quiet character but quite imposing. Interestingly, he told me that he told people he played football for the Melbourne Cricket Club Football Club (as did a few others of the era)!

Hassa Mann also received the Hans Ebeling award from the MCC in 2011 for his outstanding service to the sporting sections of the club.
