Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Feeling better that he is ‘open’ to quite the range of teams. Wonder if this was the message from the FD to his mgmt: come back to us with a selection of clubs we could do a reasonable deal with this time around.

Do they have enough points for their academy players at the pointy end? This might be the most reasonable deal I’ve seen.

This story is now as cold as the snags Rhys Stanley cooked up on the bbq a club sponsor bought him.

Would love to know which [censored] teammate is saying this to Jon Ralph (of all people).

I read it more as ‘trade will quietly be explored but will quickly be swept under the carpet if the offers are no good’

Sam Flanders
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love a list filled with quality $1m players, but sadly that can’t happen.

Sam Flanders
If these players are your benchmark I think you’ll be shocked when you have a look at his price tag

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Apols if already covered but is there a good article somewhere that gives some in-depth detail about King and his coaching philosophy and strengths etc?

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
There’s a lot going on in this post 😂

Sam Flanders
I agree we need that. I haven’t watched enough of Flanders but if he is that why isn’t he in the GC midfield more? Is it just they’ve got plenty of that already?

Sam Flanders
Why do we want Flanders? Honest question, I don’t know the answer.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Nobody has. Either knows something we don’t or is making it up.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Don’t agree with that. I doubt Josh Gabeilich is peddling this story off the back of a phone call from Lade’s manager claiming the club loved him. It’s a possibility, yes, but it is also a possibility (and a more likely one in my opinion) that the footy club is leaking the information as part of their ‘plan B’ in the event Buckley turns us down. Much easier to sell the Plan B option to the fans, sponsors and footy world if there is an existing narrative about the high calibre of candidates in the process.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Keeping Nathan Buckley off the market is the ‘win’ they’ve earmarked? I would be genuinely surprised if the matter is even getting a mention in the boardroom (or behind closed doors) at AFL House.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
King/Kelly/Gia; “why would we go through this Claytons process only to lose to Buckley who is the Winx in this field” Guerra; “Tassie are still sniffing about, so he isn’t a lock…. REGARDLESS, we will flip the narrative of losing anyway by boasting about the quality of your presentation before we announce the winner” Genius, really. Skipworth thought he was protecting his reputation by pulling out but maybe he has inadvertently given the competitors for his next gig a leg up

Training Ground?
This is great. Assuming the snakepit will sit to the south of zone 6?

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
3-ish months/more than half the season? Besides, not a huge consideration in modern fixturing.
-
Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
If we get Buckley good chance we get Pies in Opening Round at the G next year.

Marcus Windhager
I wasn’t too fussed either way on Windhager now I’m desperate for him to get to us

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Demons diamond. Half backs pushing up into the contest. Arguably got us to a prelim ahead of schedule.

Marcus Windhager
Just read somewhere tonight StK have upped the offer to Windhager. Don’t know what to
