  1. Putting 2 + 2 together it appears to me the club review uncovered that they need to relax and have more fun in their approach to footy. That was Hawthorn last year and it sounds like Goody was told to lighten up. Maybe we should get Fev & Capper down to the club on a consulting basis?
  2. ā€œThe recent club review identifying a void under the 5 year skipperā€ā€¦. First I have heard this…
  3. The 6ers butchered some drafts. Like Essendon.
  4. Solely from those highlights, reminded me of Darcy Parish highlights from his draft year. For those who watched both at the underage level, is Jagga a better player than Parish at this age?
  5. I never shared any expectation I had of him. You are making that up. I thought his first year was probably in line with what they wanted for him. I just said I don’t understand how people are declaring him a star/150 game player off the back of that first year. I hope he makes it but I think some are overrating his first year.
  6. Yep, not saying I don’t like him. Just feel like his first year was overrated by many on here.
  7. Many here seem to think Kolt was a huge tick last year… he’s still a wait and see for me. Windsor ENORMOUS tick, yes, but I didn’t see anything from Kolt which suggested he’s a guaranteed star.
  8. Only in his final phantom draft when he gets all of the mail. His lead-up rankings are more hit and miss
  9. I don’t know much about the front office team - who steps in as interim?
  10. We’ve seen some evidence they can help fast track a change in game plan though.
  11. It’ll be really difficult to attract decent free agents and/or trade in decent mids if Oliver and Trac leave. We’ll be portrayed (again) as a basket case. I’d love to recruit a gun tall but feel our situation is calling more for somebody ready to play in ā€˜25
  12. They’ll be holding onto any major announcements to align with the release of review-findings. Including Jonesy. Probably released on the Monday before cup day, after the evening news.
  13. My guess is the club don’t really care where he is from BUT I do this time around… drafting interstaters in recent years hasn’t concerned me but there is just too much other stuff going on now at the club to take the risk, especially when there are so many good vics around that mark in the draft
  14. Time for a new logo!
  15. Once he hears from families of the players and /or clubs who they are going to… calculating Cal doesn’t like to stick his neck out too far
  16. Were we watching the same finals series? All I saw was small forwards dominate. Ah Chee and Lohmann kicked 8 between them on GF day. Sydney’s 3x talls had 6 marks between them.

We’ll run out of bad cops at this rate
  18. he was head of football at Freo… doubt he would be looking at assistant coaching gigs
  19. 27 scrabble points. They should reserve the number.
  20. JT has a history of not being predictable and you’d hope he is holding his cards closer to his chest this year for that very reason. Cal Twomey always gets mail from the inside, it’ll be interesting to see if perhaps this year he is a little off given the possible pick-trading scenarios
  21. I have watched that game 8 trillion times and he was the catalyst to the momentum in the centre square. Politely (AND MASSIVELY) disagree
  22. I feel this way too. I don’t follow these kids play or watch them live but his form in those vfl games looked exceptional.

More like how far has the Caulfield Cup fallen 😢

Not sure what is more gobsmacking; that there is in fact an Oliver ā€˜family/camp’ or the fact they are angry at the club. He/they should be writing an apology to the club and its fans on a daily basis for the [censored] he put us through
  25. It was half tongue in cheek because there are clearly some elite footballers that followed him in that draft but it was the right decision for our list at the time and I believe contributed to a premiership
