I’m not on board with the narrative that Oliver is now the good guy and Trac still isn’t. One brought the club to its knees because of extremely poor personal behaviour. The other sustained near-fatal injuries representing our club and had ongoing trauma from that. I’m glad Oliver appears to be pulling his in but the ongoing pile-on on Trac isn’t cool. I have a pragmatic view that it is worthwhile considering trading Trac but that has nothing to do with his attitude or behaviour.

We finished 14th and have a gap in the critical 23 - 27 year old bracket as wide as the Grand Canyon. Yet Wade Dersken and Max Heath appear our main targets. One of two things is happening. 1. If he is truly on the fence I’m thankful Caro is surfacing that now. The club leaks seem to be drying up… all of the intel on this club-selection process now seems to be coming from the candidates and not the club + we’ve heard very little on player exit interviews (especially Clarry). My best guess is incoming CEO and president have had to step in. This is a good sign.
