  1. Agree, but i don't see him ahead of those no. Chandler, Spargo and AMW are the three for the last spot. it will be a pressure fwd/high HF role which goody loves. unless they are changing the fwd structure, which after a last few years of conversion and connection issues, could be possible.
  2. But Melksham was only playing because all our key fwds and Fritta were injured. He played outstanding when he wa in and couldn't be dropped. But had Fritta been playing i doubt Melk would have even got an opportunity.
  3. They are both poor defensive fwds, add in JVR and another key Fwd, it leaves you very open on the rebound.
  4. yes, i think Ash Johnson would be very gettable and like him too!
  5. I can see us looking at a small fwd line with both playing. You would hope with what we have paid he is playing round 1. I"m sure he will be, but how long it lasts i dunno. Hopefully I'm eating my words after 20+ games and 40 goals!
  6. I can't see them both in the same team, it's one or the other. Unless we are planning to only play one Key forward
  7. Im thinking McAdam wins the Casey goal kicking
  8. I know what you are saying, i am disagreeing. McLean is an inside midfielder as he showed in the VFL. Just like Dunstan and Hately. Mclean doesn't play midfield in the AFL because his coach doesn't put him there, which is why he should look for a new club and get a run in his best position. I don't believe for a second Dunstan would have come in for Brayshaw btw, but we will never know. I'm purely just saying that McLean is a better option than Hately
  9. yes but you want someone that can play at AFL level if needed. Hately cant and hasn't been able to at 2 clubs. McLean at least played 6 AFL games this year and was Emg for the whole back half of the year so he is around the mark in a midfield much much deeper than Adelaide. Hately got 1 game and wasn't looked at again
  10. He played completely Midfield in the VFL last year, only time he wasn't midfield was when Bevo played him in the AFL and well its Bevo. Hately is [censored], he is a horrible ball user and even worse decision maker, the fact he can't take Ben Keays place in that side says it all. If we sign these guys for nothing and as pure VFL depth that's fine, but id be taking McLean over Hately any day.
  11. Id say bottom 6, 2021 have a look at T-Mac, Brown, Harmes, Rivers, Bowie and Sparrrow. They had fantastic years, and some were in their first year or two of AFL footy. and have a look at the output of our bottom 6 now, its a big difference.
  12. He finally got his body right this year and was dominating the VFL. not expecting him to be our best midfielder, but depth. no many better options out there
  13. Go get McLean for free instead
  14. Yup big fan of him, had a very good end to the year in the VFL. Purely depth though
  15. Toby McLean delisted, perfect free midfield back up. think we really need one even if he never plays an AFL game
  16. Huge fan of him... in a crows top
  17. Done for pick 47 Twomey is reporting, seems fair
  18. Melb put in a big offer for Hawkins, they reported that today on trade radio.
  19. Adel rejecting offer, want a player. Please Dees walk away and forget you were ever interested in that spud!
  20. Could Gunston wanting to leave change Brisbane's thoughts about trading Fullarton?
  21. Yuck, double that number and it's still overs
  22. Jack Gunston wanting to return to Hawks, do we have a dabble at him? Probably not with McAdam nominating us
  23. Lycett has a contract in front of him but it is said to be pitiful, think he will walk to the draft, be very happy to pick him up if we have list spots.
