21st defender in the whole comp for score assist suggest he made the right choice more often than not.

100% has to be the starting point. And sell him as best we can, "Judd we think had Judd like tendencies"

na, they won't go for that. and teams like NM have better hands to offer them. the building of second rounders for points has been tightened up by the AFL so not like it used to be.

Come on, take ya tin foil hat off. He was also one of only 7 Dees that polled votes, guess the ump were in on it as well. He our best score involvement defender after rivers for the year, second most rebound 50s, he went at 81.41% disposal efficacy, Most contested marks besides the key Def, 21st in the AFL for goal assists per game and 16th in the AFL for effective disposals. He had a great year and is a whipping boy on here. He was rarely beaten and I think you just highlight the times he is, rather than the good moments which outweighed them. I guess we will never know the "what if with Judd" and I think he was a good player but hoping with this pick we can make it better. If we get 29, we will have 23, 29 and sounds like 37(Spargo). Rich are open to splitting 2&3 and GC have 6, 13 &16 with academy kids. If King thinks we can get back to finals and has everyone believing this I can see us trying to get 3 off rich with a future first plus two of the second-round picks. Which I am all for!

Salem just finished top 5 in our B&F and played the lockdown role all year, he knows how to read the play and cut the lines. He had a great year and knows how to keep his opponent in front of him. But, we do need to start looking for a replacement. Judd didn't play back flank because he isn't better than the ones we have, which is why he is the lock down def. I like Judd, but have never believed the hype other have had on him. he is a good 1v1 def and all clubs need them. But never bought into the midfield or HBF stuff, he isn't better than Bowey, and Rivers in that role.

Still a very compromised top end draft again. Unfortunately, the "they need to pay up" mentality from supporters isn't how it actually works, even though I wish it was!

they only have themselves (even though they blamed Hird) to blame for Hibbo and Melk coming to us. And I love it!!

Howes is 100% a lockdown def, as is Salem. Salem's 1v1 work is very, very good. But pace obviously an issue. I like the idea of Salem going deeper in def and putting Lindsey one the HBF where he played a lot int the TAC cup. It is a position we can cover the easiest on our list, besides inside Mids.

If we can get something ok for him that's a win, this is a po0sition we have a plethora of players in: Salem, Bowey, Howes, Windsor, Lindsay, AMW. I think this is a loss we will end up doing ok out of, as long as we don't get bent over in the trade.

Or King said to him "mate you're a back pocket, and that's where you will play"

Next year is weak as well

haha we are not getting 11 for McVee. Lets hope WC come hard for him now he wants back to WA and start a bit of a bidding war.

Clearly not about midfield time as some believe, as he isn't getting into that midfield any quicker than ours. This is a kick in the guts a bit, but it is a position we can lose. Now hopefully we can get a goodish pick for him, early second round, late first if we are lucky.

NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
Is it ok to want Hawks to win so King can get down to work?

My mouth waters at Trac for Thrilla, but it's a pipe dream

My ex partner but her body through a lot to give me my beautiful daughter, I will forever be grateful for that. But that's as far as it goes. If he walks out, he will receive the same treatment, thanks for the flag, but not good luck!!

Someone that leaves the club in this way over the past 2 years can 100% be Boo'd

Don't read into the Trac articles too much, been sitting on the "Journo's" desks for 8 months waiting to put out there. Let him sit down and talk with King first, get an idea of where his place is moving forward and if he is happy with that. If he is then not happy with the direction, we then look at a trade. Morris also says in his article that there is less of an interest then last year for Trac to move, which screams it's a nothing article at this stage. King believes we are a finals team, and if so, Petracca is a finals player! He will be a big part of King's plan and now he can sell that to Trac.

Our Salary Cap
We Have been linked to both Windhager and Flanders. Neither will be cheap, so there must be a bit there. Over the last few years May, Viney, Gawn, T-Mac have all signed contracts that I suspect wouldn't be a pay cut (besides T-Mac) but haven't had a pay raise. Which is sort of a pay cut with increases etc.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Wow this guy is impressive, I am very happy with this. even to the point where he made about Casey into a positive and an improvement he plans to make. I think he will drive tough standards but have a way of making these standards ones that everyone is a part of making which will get people involved and on board. Great to hear him say he wants to work with all premiership players, and move on from questions about the past, avoided "headline" questions with poise and class. Guerra also fantastic, not buying into stupid comments or questions from the media which by god there were some. He looks to be a strong and articulate leader! And my fav part of all of this was the fact Brad Green could not wipe the smirk of his face when asked about Caufield, he tried and then it came straight back. Which to me(maybe i am reading into it too much) means something significant has been agreed on. Bring on 2026!
