Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Spot on, and the dees are "going through the process" so that if Bucks doesn't work, they can say he was the best candidate. Even if he has had the job from the get-go.

Farewell Charlie Spargo
Kolt, Laurie, Billings, Mcadam, Sharp, Henderson, Mentha I think it is a position we have plenty that have as good an input as Spargo has of late, with the draft and possibly Sinnema coming in, I think it's a player we can move comfortably

Farewell Charlie Spargo
Yup the way he did it was classic AC joint, thinking bigger picture he will want to rehab properly for next year
-
Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
Yup agree, 3 times on Sat he took his man up the ground and burnt him back putting space on him inside 50, got 2 goals from it. And this is without a Pre-Season. Only 19, huge upside. If he can have a good pre-season and keep improving, I like what he could become. Think the Dees plucked one here before he got to the draft.

Judd McVee Contract
Listening to the guys on "Gettable" there is a 2-year deal on the table, Dees very confident it will get signed. McVee has not looked around and is not talking to any other clubs, both Cal and Riley expect him to sign once the coach is sorted out. "There is no pull to WA"

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I dont want to get everyone excited but I present to you.....Latrelle Pickett, yes Kossie's cousin. Made his SANFL debut on the weekend and kicked 4. He has also kicked 28 goals from 17 matches in the SANFL reserves and in the SANFL annual youth game (u18 v u20) he kicked 3. Was overlooked in last years draft, and is a late bolter this year. But has to be turning heads now.

2026 AFL National Draft prospects: The batch after the next
...wrong draft

Farewell Charlie Spargo
Sounds like a good move from the Dees, an offer we are happy to give, and he is welcome to explore if he wants more $$ or opportunity elsewhere. This is the type of player that we don't need to be chasing after. Offer his worth, and no more.

Steven May's Future
I think if May thinks he can go on somewhere else we let him go, and whatever we get for him we get. If he wants to stay that's also ok, but the new coach makes it clear that he has to earn his spot, his body needs to be 100% and he has to be 100% on board with the game plan. I do think re-signing T-Mac makes it interesting for May, i think if he can get his body pretty good, he would still be very valuable in a strong defensive side, like a Sydney, Collingwood or even Freo.

The Greatest Demon of All Time?
He is the not only the greatest Demon of all time he is the greatest ruckman of at least the AFL era, and probably ever. Once he actually hangs up the boots this will al become clear as day.

Judd McVee Contract
We don't have a coach yet, I'd be waiting too

Trade Targets
How to you figure that? That. They need 44 for a normal AFL list. And they will get extras as well so min 50. You take 50 players out of the draft and what are you picking up? Yes they will get players from other clubs as well, but that them means you lose more depth and going to the draft sets you back in development

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Box Hill Hawks
Good win! Kolt - showing something and also showing why he just needs to play consistent footy in a team with the same role. Billings - just a VFL specialist I think Johnson is what we need in our AFL side, for now. Kentfield - coming along nicely, not a great game but kicked 3 somehow Sinnema - showed more than enough Mentha - just needs to be a little harder but that's just nit picking Laurie - I can't understand why he can't translate this to AFL, he might just be another Billings Fullarton - has made himself as a backman(VFL) Spargo - Keep doing that and you will force yourself back into the AFL Brown & Woey - same every week Jefferson - interesting game, not horrible but we need him marking

PODCAST: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
What does the panel think, I have a feeling that Chaplin went back to the old Dees a bit. We have been ok going fwd the past 5 rounds and the stats prove that. this looked like the old bomb it in. maybe it was the Hawks pressure, but we seemed to always be kicking inside 50 from being hemmed in around where the 50 meets the boundary, meaning they were all just high balls to big packs, which made it easy for Hawks as the ball can only go to one spot. Even the commentators mentioned it a few times how we would get the ball around the point of the square and go outside (to the boundary) rather than come back central and open up the 50. I have made the point on the pod before but going to bring them up again: 1 - our handballing is horrible, even to the point where we are handballing the ball back in play to an outnumber that the player knows is there, when we have the most dominant ruck in the comp, just take it out!! 2 - our tackling is [censored] poor, and has to be a focus over the pre-season 3 - we just cannot transition when we turn the ball over, May had a bad game, but how many of those balls also hit Gunston on the chest, hard for any defender. End of the season, players probably have checked out with everything going on, so let's get through the year, maybe beat the filth and keep them out of the 4.
