  1. Both, fundraiser for Jim's foundation and a memorial to him after becoming a Club legend. This is the first one
  2. I'm not to worried about the weather and our fitness. I am a little worried about GWS having that game under their belt, the sides that have played already have looked a bit cleaner this week skills wise, where last week the games were pretty average in that regard. Hopefully we are on!
  3. Lets get it done! Devastated i cant be there for Jim's game and get a chance to wear one of my fav guernseys.
  4. I don't see how disco is in the team with these ins. and in the possible wet conditions.
  5. yup 100% agree. he has nothing to do with those negotiations. Planting his Dees flag firmly and I'm all here for it!!
  6. exactly the quotes are taken solitary and not in context, he says 2-3 first rounders. and to be honest if we got 3 x first rounders outside the top 10 id be [censored]
  7. This is what our leadership has been lacking at the club. Send a message to both Freo and Kossie, if you want to break that contract it's not gonna be easy! there is no way we get 3 first rounders for him, but it sets the bar straight away for if he was to leave.
  8. Sort of, HAF can also be service to the the club. So his captaincy an leadership may be a big reason why. Where as someone like Gerard Healy might make our TOTC but not a club HOF because the %^@$&^^$ left 😆
  9. Can confirm there is training on at Gotsch's paddock. It is the AFLW side. Girls looking fit, into some running and light ball work early.
  10. Anyone know if there is training tomorrow? Or a day off after last night's festivities?
  11. Is there training tomorrow?
  12. It is now that Adelaide have now taken their back up ruck as an SSP as well. It's a huge hole for them, they lose a captain, 3 time B&F, magarey medallist and Jack Oatey medallist. And is a Ruckman, this is why the 2nd their clubs need some sort of reprieve. Or just a discussion and if the club is happy to let their player chase their dream then all sweet. Which i woukd think will usually be the case.
  13. This is exactly the reason lower levels are struggling. Because the AFL doesn't give a [censored]. Can guarantee Norwood will now struggle this year after losing Boyd, and he was taken a month ago.
  14. It's for the lower levels, so they have some time to replace the players they lose
  15. From the chat I had with the trainers, they are taking load management much more seriously this year. They talked particularly about Max and Campbell. Fingers crossed they follow through!
  16. I had a giggle at Clarry introducing himself to Henderson "hi mate I'm Clayton, nice to meet you" as if he didn't already know. Was nice to see the guys get around him too. Can be daunting first training with a bunch of blokes you don't know
  17. The ones i listed at the start are not playing tomorrow, the trainers said so. And they did bulk running at the end of training. Not ideal for a game at 10 tomorrow morning. This was: Trac, May, Langdon, Gawn, Salem, Spargo, Viney.
  18. Yeh he trained properly for a good half hour but came off and put sandshoes on. Looked uncomfortable but just needs to heal
  19. Windsor just left the track, not looking comfortable. Not a new injury, but obviously still recovering
  20. Rest of the team rocking up now for captains run
