NON-MFC: Round 24
Surely Carlton losing was karma after that disgraceful act by their "supporter".

What about jail? Is a serious assault!

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Disagree about his field kicking. It can be magnificent. His tackling is terrible and his chasing is lacklustre but his field kicking can be up there with Melksham.

NON-MFC: Round 24
My whole interest in footy for the rest of this season is in hoping they go out in straight sets. Huge home ground advantage, if the rumours are half true they subvert the salary cap, and summer the most dislikeable people in the league.

GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Well, unlike I suspect many of the people on this thread, I have been at the game. All our best midfielders were out. Lever and May were not playing. Free kicks were 3 to one in their favour. We made some terrible errors, but I think our players did their best and I'm not going to criticise them.

Kate Roffey
Please please please can't we move in from all of this now? If Lawrence wants to stand for election he can do so; if he wins he wins and if he loses he loses.

Dan Houston
100% agree. Apparently this is a strong draft. Let's get a young gun mid or key back, not a 28yo HBF when we already have Salem Rivers McVee Bowey AMW Taj Howes........

Max Gawn Re-Signs Until 2027
I truly believe you are a Collingwood supporter - you gave it away the other day when you said "we played Daicos in the backline". And no Melbourne supporter could be half as negative and anti-Melbourne as you are.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Gold Coast
I know you are close to the players but as an outsider I would be staggered off Clarry out Viney goes anywhere. You asked about what Viney said - I think there are links to it earlier in this thread but essentially when asked about leaving he instantly said he wouldn't be but when asked again, he said he would wait until later - words to that effect. Most people think that he had meant that he would be staying but then realised that was ruining his bargaining power so he walked back from it. I agree with that interpretation.

The Watch with Ben Gibson | Tom Morris
Hate to say it, but I thought Morris sounded reasonable in the interview. The question then is, can we calm Trac down and keep him, or do we trade him? If it stopped us wasting two first-rounders on a half back that we don't need, I think that is a bit of good news among all this!

Greg Stafford
I understand that, but our forward line has been incredibly static, particularly when there is a holdup at wing/HB - They don't block/ create space/do multiple leads. I have defended players and coaches on this site many times but I don't see Stafford as the right guy.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
I'm not nervous. I think he will be head down, bum up, and will come back in ripping form.

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
No, I'm not joking. Our midfield next year will include Gawn, Trac, Oliver, JV7, with Kozzie, Sparrow and Rivers and hopefully a high draft pick. We can't and won't put ALL of our half backs into the midfield - apart from anything else, half back is a vital position and good players should be kept there. As for saying the ones I mentioned are fringe players, they are developing players who i hope will have a future. Houston got torched by Kozzie last week. He may be a good player but he is, i think, 28 and he is not filling a gaping hole in our team.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
It was fixed. A plate was put in that had to be removed after 12-14 weeks - which I understand has not happened. But playing with a plate in your dominant hand can't be much fun.
