Thanks for the clarification. I’m not against loading in theory or practice. However if we’re loading now I’d be a little shocked.
-
Yes but you specifically said we’re loading which is different to a hard session after a break?
-
What would you imagine is the point of this? We played Carlton in 38 degrees, ran out of puff last week and now we’re busting a gut at training. Can you explain the logic behind this?
-
What do you mean by saying they’re loading?
-
I ain’t laughing

Personally I’d be stoked at that -
Isn’t he the guy to help solve our forward half issues?

My kingdom for Jackson. That’s why Fullerton is so important -
Bowey is a huge loss, I think he was primed for a great year. We need a replacement for him. Who is that? I don’t see a natural cover besides Salem. Do we roll the dice and try Laurie or Woewodin there?
-
I think Collingwood will slide to bottom half of the 8, they’ll get found out
-
We’ve got some major problems and Bowey’s loss compounds them. 8 weeks means it’s unlikely he’ll find his best till very late in the season.
-
The AFL have to let clubs who lose a player to concussion pick an extra player and have the players salary off the books. We're going to miss Gus more than we realise.

You lost me at Melksham -
Max will be fine, he’s never been a tough guy and never will be. Our problems lie elsewhere
-
So sensible. I’m all or nothing. Flags or bust for me.
-
Absolutely, I’m annoyed about last year, the preseason and Sydney. Im worried if we keep losing and sustaining injuries it’ll be season over

CASEY: Practice Match vs Port Melbourne

No one’s eager to write anyone off. But when you’ve watched a lot of footy the first thing you look for is an appetite for the contest. They’ve all got great skills that can continue to be worked on. Appetite is the split second difference that defines the best players in this sport. I and others, including much better footy brains than me, don’t see it with Jefferson. Can he prove the doubters wrong, yes but it’s unlikely -
Pickett will help, I really hope Fullerton is selected as Schache doesn’t have it. Just maybe we’ll play more like the Carlton practice match and have a comfortable win…..one can dream!

Jefferson is likely a bust and at pick 15 a pretty expensive one. -
GWS remind me of us in 21. It’s the hunger and belief that we just don’t have.
-
I’d almost take a bottom 4 finish so as to recruit and bounce in 25-26. Bit like 2019. Problem is how to you keep guys like Petty and attract key forwards when you finish that low?
-
Simplistic in that Key Forwards don’t fall out of trees but he’s right. We’re now banking on an injured backmen who may leave at years end to be our key forward. I really hope we’ve got the cheque book out at years end. Is Cadman contracted next year? I’d take JUH in a heartbeat. If Petty puts together a good season we need to sign him. We can’t go to the draft as we need a player Round 1 next year.

No one has told me whether Fullerton is any good? -
Briggs will kill Gawn

They can kick. We could kick in 21, wtf happened?
