PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
JVR for Petty Their attack is small and nimble. May or TMac should easily account for Chol which means I think we cover them pretty well. Our mids should beat there's or at worst break even. That leaves our forwards, Turner and JVR to kick a 6 between them, Max to kick 2 and the Dee's to win by 21. I almost want to beat them more than I want to beat Collingwood. I think they're pretenders and very beatable.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
The only way Oliver changes clubs is if he tears up the contract and starts again. He'd be lucky to get $750K right now. I think we're stuck with him which isn't a bad thing. He's a damn fine player and if he can just get that bit fitter this off season who knows.

Media Madness
Gerard hasn't recovered from leaving Melbourne and then playing for the swans in the Semi Final in 87 against us only to get totally pantsed. He likes the sound of his own voice, I'm yet to meet a good bloke who suffers from this affliction. In short, he's a [censored]

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
For me it's a must win game. Pressure over 200, run and carry, kick straight for goal, get it done Dee's.

There's nothing stopping us saying you can go if you can negotiate a new contract with club of choice, get us a first rounder and leave us paying nothing.

Complaining about the quality of footy shows......there's a word for such things but i can't think it atm.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
He doesn't like him because he shows up Jefferson's lack of intensity.

AFL 360 & First Crack
There's little point discussing Melb v WC, Ess v North and such games. We get our fair share of analysis when we play in good contests. Welcome to being ordinary, it sucks doesn't it? If we beat Hawthorn they'll talk about us.

Happy to be disappointed, it appears we really need to move on. I’d also say The Brand is heading to Captain, that’ll increase his followers

TRAINING: Thursday 1st May 2025
Sorry but asking your predecessor for advice isn't unprofessional. Personally I'm not enamoured by any leaders I see out there at the moment. Bunch of overpaid corporate wankers, most have so many bestowed benefits a trained monkey could fulfill the role. I mean the AFL is basically unbreakable. The hard work has been done. I could run it.

NON-MFC: Round 08
Records are there to be broken. It's a huge effort and should be roundly applauded. he's a good player and his record will be broken eventually.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I continually see the Duursma name rated highly but everytime I watch them in the AFL I'm totally underwhelmed. Jamie Duursma has them all covered.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
I'll bet my house on JVR regaining his spot and having a strong season. It wasn't the easiest team to play in in the first 5 weeks. How many of our forwards were performing well? He's talented and with an open forward line I'd expect him to continue his growth towards a really solid goal kicking forward for us. i can't understand why you'd jump off him after 5 games that we lost all but one convincingly.
