  1. Have you heard how serious the club is regarding Roy George?
  2. Kicking it to players in space, forward of centre. It hasn’t been our strength.
  3. I’ve come around to the potential of this group over the last few months. It’s got 21 vibes written all over it. There seems a real excitement within the group to get season 25 underway. We’ve got an excellent top end and an incredibly talented group of youngsters coming through. For mine the fitness of May doesn’t hang heavy as it did last year with Petty going back. We’ve got Langford as the replacement for Gus, Windsor, JVR and Turner with another preseason and the opportunity for Oliver to once again become a midfield great. Throw in a fit Rivers and of course Petracca to the midfield and all of a sudden we’re top 4 again. With Gawn still at or near the top and the likes of Chandler, Bowey, Langdon, Salem, McVee, Sharp, Tholstrup and Spargo kicking into forward 50 there’s not a lot of weak spots in the team. Throw in a fit Pickett, a tweaked game style, an easier draw and a committed coaching line up and I for one am back to being very bullish about our chances. I also think Lindsay will be best 22 and with the extra run he and others bring there’s little to stop us. Time to win one at the G is now. Unleash hell Demons!
  4. That’s exactly what we need
  5. Not even I’m expecting that from McAdam. He’s not a bustling forward.
  6. As I said if I was risking a list spot I’d go with George. I can’t see McAdam becoming anything for us. Happy to be proven wrong. George has a unique skill set and whilst he to is a long shot I think he offers more upside.
  7. Because he’s 28, has had a nothing career to now and is one injury away from the end. Roy George on the other hand is young, energetic, electric and if you’re risking a list spot I’d go with Roy everyday of the week.
  8. He’s got great run and carry, is a real competitor and kicks well, he’s exactly what our backline needs. On top of that Bowey is a great kick and to see that into the forward 50 makes it all the more of a weapon
  9. This is a fantastic move for mine. Rivers to the mids, Bowey to the wing
  10. Imagine if he was the second coming. I mean it’s going to happen eventually.
  11. Pay McAdam out and get this kid in.
  12. Not intact. There was no position for him at Brisbane. There is a role wide open for him at Melbourne. A role that plays to his strengths. He could well become an upgrade on ANB. Remember ANB’s role was more about following instructions and being an endurance runner than a particularly high skill set.
  13. It’d be the biggest injustice in history if he’s not left to be taken by us.
  14. Jefferson still remains a long way from an AFL key forward. We’ll see soon enough if he has the requisite desire and will to really succeed. It’s a brutal position and takes enormous courage and strength.
  15. I’m backing him to stay.
  16. What injury is McAdam recovering from?
  17. If TMac is fit and training the house down as per reports are we seeing him forward or back?
  18. It’s hard to skip posts when a bloke posts 15 of 20 on end. You’re an argumentative bloke by nature. Give it a rest, it’s excruciatingly boring
  19. If we want him do we have the pick?
  20. The next Aaron Davey????
  21. Do we have anyone on the list with any serious injury concerns?…….it appears not and if that is the case we are in a very very good spot right now. Out of sight, out of the news, off to the side of the draw and fully fit. As usual my confidence is building through preseason.
  22. Preseason with The Brand?
  23. Turner, Petty and Oliver
  24. I’ll just stick to The Brand
  25. Wouldn’t be surprised if Lindsay followed shortly after
