They’ve admitted they don’t have enough experienced umpires currently. Yet there is still no plant to make them full time professionals even though it’s a professional sport generating millions of dollars. The umpiring is poor, has been for years. They don’t seem to really care.

There wasn’t a lot of nuance to his post. The fact a percentage of our supporters aren’t rabid ferals who’s only joy is football isn’t why we didn’t win multiple flags and you know that. I get the frustration but flags are hard to win.

I think Goodwin and the coaches will need a lot to go right to not be looking for work at year’s end. It kind of feels like a “changing of the guard” moment is coming. To their credit they’ve been addressing the team’s weaknesses through the draft. I’ll take my hat off to Goodwin for this. Many clubs have traded out picks for older players to fit the system. We have done the opposite and I actually think our young talent is as good as any going around. It’s why I thought we’d be better this year.

Would it truly be home to Melbourne supporters without “suffocating negativity” Even I’m prone to it from time to time. As for bitchiness compared to other online forums we’re incredibly friendly and considerate for the most part. Anyway I’m an addict so I have to come here. Oh the pain!

If we were 7-2 they could play soccer all week. it's not the soccer it's the fact we are so poor in our F50 we should be practising all the time when we're on the track. I get the whole wind down and relax but sheesh if I was coach they'd be no relaxing until our F50's improved markedly. It's not like it's a new problem, you know, we've had the same issue holding us back for 3 1/2 years now.

Is the drop off in numbers engaging due to abuse or the fact we're not winning atm?

I think McVee is yet to find form, he's been a big loss this year.

We're going to be good by foot in years ahead, jeez that'll make a nice change. He and White will be solid additions to a really strong youthful side. If Petracca can become our Dangerfield and play 5-6 more years and we got Jackson for Pickett allowing Max reduced minutes we're looking pretty sweet. Now to grind out 2025. I was expecting more to be honest!
