Hypotheticals on Tasmania entry concessions
Correct me if I’m wrong but this is the AFL pushing a stadium down the throats of a State that can’t afford it. Pretty sure the overwhelming bulk of Tasmanian’s want the team but only a minority want the stadium. Thing is Dillon is committed and considering what a mess he’s making of his leadership he really needs a victory here. The stadium and surrounding improvements including transport won’t cost less than $1.4 billion, that’s a lot of teachers and nurses.

I’m not sure who the hell you think you are but the reporters I use are highly trained professionals. It’s not like I get them from some 2 bit football forum like Big Footy. If you want to cast dispersions then come through me otherwise button it cowboy.

All I see is a lot of bickering between my reporters. Pull yourselves together for christs sake. Also I need one or more of you to get me reports from Casey. Clearly you don’t work much, hell you could drive each other down there. I’d suggest you ignore the locked gates.

A fractured hand will be fine after the bye.

Goalkicking
I know it’s simplistic but why don’t they set markers at 25,35 and 45m then 3 cones at different angles at each distance. Then 3 on the run from each angle, one at each distance. No one leaves training till everyone has kicked at least 10 goals per round. This is the end of every training session. Film each player and then show them the vision. Teach, repetition, teach, repetition. We have to get better at this and practice is the only way.

I think the argument can be had that loading through the Collingwood game would have been the smarter move. Win the Saints game, sacrifice the Pies match as it's a much harder one to win, take the bye and be cherry ripe post bye. The thing going against this scenario is we absolutely do not want to get smashed on any given KB. This is what I think is playing out and at the end of the day we were some straight kicks away from beating the Saints so it wasn't a terrible gamble. Now let's see how we go this week.- The Alice Game
That's good to know, I guess when we're losing it always feels like our suppoorters are outnumbered, on average what would you say the % of the support is for us?- Time to go Goody?
We didn't and that was evident in the first and last quarter, looked like we were running in the mud at times. Others have suggested loading which for mine is the most plausible theory although I don't think that excuses the first quarter. I guess there's an argument to say don't load and risk losing a winnable game but we've got a pretty tough stretch of games pretty much for the rest of the year so I guess we're sticking with our yearly training schedule. My main gripe was allowing them relatively easy transition goals, Butlers 3 from the goalsquare and not shifting Koz one out deep forward when it was clear he was being well beaten around the ball. These loses happen every year and they're damn frustrating. It's why our poor start was so damning. Let's hope Collingwood are in the middle of a loading phase and we can run over the top of them.- PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
ame one player the Hawks or Pies have drafted that have the talent of Windsor, Lindsay and Langford, you can't recruit top end mid 20'3 talent without giving up your high draft picks. We chose our path and so far I'm happy with that choice.- The Alice Game
All clubs do community work. We were flat and not switched on. It’s not Alice It’s us.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
His club has won one flag in its history, it’s as close to irrelevant as GC and GWS. On top of that his game plan is the worst in the comp, he’s won nothing and he’s got a dubious personal record. He talks a big game but barely delivers a weeks groceries. Ross Lyon can go [censored] himself.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Ross Lyon can’t comment on serious footy clubs.- PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I’d tag them both and pay some attention to Pendles and Sides. Close those 4 down and we’re a chance.- The Alice Game
The only thing I don’t like is it appears we struggle to garner much support from the crowd. Interstate sides travel way more than we do so I’m not sure it does any harm and the million dollars surely helps.- PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I’ll stay positive until I deem it completely and utterly pointless.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I agree but maybe without it we crash and burn later??- PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I’m going to assume we loaded into last week and we’re setting ourselves for this week. Playing JVR will give us as much or more than AJ so that’s basically like for like. If Viney plays that’s an upgrade. Melksham is the concern. Hopefully nothing serious and just needs a jab before the game. I’m not sure who replaces him if he doesn’t get up. Do you bring TMac in and play him back and shift Turner forward. Whatever we do we have to do it well.- Aidan Johnson Cops 2 Match Ban
Bagging a guy who’s played a handful of games and who could easily have kicked 3 goals yesterday seems a little odd. 2 weeks is about right. He’s shown more this year than Jefferson or JVR and that’s why he’s in the team. Is a long term prospect? Unlikely but he’s not our worst.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Well if we win this week I’ll never think about the Saints game again. - POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
