  1. The piece of play where Windsor gathers and then dodges 2 GWS players and hits up Jefferson lace out was worth the price of admission. He wasn't prolific but boy oh boy was he good. If Max had dished off to him like he should have we may well have won today. The other gold was Xavier Lindsay, not only is he clean, calm and skilled he doesn't mind backing into a pack. Those 2 alone will see us improve this year. I had a great day with my kids. My Fifteen year old daughter who's a Demon but never been a massive fan said, and I quote "I get it now, let's go every week" Bugger for losing but my confidence in what lies ahead hasn't diminished because of a 3 point loss to the GF favourite.
  2. Watch the last play again. There was a lot of luck in that, that was no set play and we were literally a roll of the ball from regaining possession twice if not 3 times.
  3. How did Spargo go?
  4. I trust an extensive report will follow the match KC.
  5. Brisbane have had the toughest prep all all teams and they beat Sydney on their patch. No excuses today. Effort, effort, effort.
  6. Rain will be well gone by 3, relax folks, turn up and enjoy the win. It'll blow over by around one and then give the ground 2 hours to dry out.
  7. He's incredibly slight. I'm more in the 3 years before he plays. His kidney's are going to get sick of protein powders that for sure.
  8. The fact he signs his name as Kalani34 is good enough for me. If he does choose GC I’ll lose my cool. 🆒 lost
  9. That’s what heaven looks like

I think Johnson will be more durable as a top 25 player

Well I take that back then, it may well of been score differential I remember reading about.
  12. Because!

Where did you find that? I read an article in 2023 saying we were number 1??

Umpiring remains ordinary, poor decisions and no reading of a games situation.

This ground is one of the biggest injustices in the competition.
  16. Woey is a good chance to ask for a trade imo. I'd like to keep him because I think he's a really hard worker. His issue is finding a role to make his own. I thought he was half a chance when ANB left but Sharp seems the logical replacement now. Injuries and form will occur. I don't think either Laurie or Billings will be playing AFL much. They just don't seem to fit anywhere.

The KB game against the Pies in 23 showed how our gameplan was superior to theirs. It's also the gamestyle that is played in finals when the pressure goes up a notch or two. The Pies were more than lucky in 23.

    total points.
  19. Were you at the Sandy game? Did Johnson and Jefferson play?

I love people's criticism of the kickout to Gawn. It was the most effective kickout strategy leading to scores in the AFL.
  21. Watt's goal against the pies is one of my all time favourites.

That's rubbish and the rewriting of history to suit your narrative. In 22 we ran out of energy tickets and had too many injuries to our best players. Gawn was hobbled, Petracca had his leg busted, Lever was on one leg, may was stiffer than a groom on wedding night. In 23 had we not lost Petty, Melksham and Brayshaw I reckon the flag was ours. Last year the wheels fell off and we missed finals by a game and percentage. That's hardly the resume of a team playing boring football. We played to our strengths.
