  1. Goodwin said we need to be ruthless as a club. Jack Viney running around for someone else. Ruthless indeed. If so mixed feelings and anywhere but Essendon.
  2. Freo played with good system. We played with none. They made zero changes we made 7. We are spent. The season is a joke. Living in hubs, 4 days breaks, Dees travelling every game and playing on tier 2 grounds. The boys have had enough. They will look forward to getting back to their own beds. Be interesting to see our off field moves heading into 2021. List needs some tinkering and just wonder if we will trade out someone unexpected. We need to change our mix. I am going to back Goody in. Wake me up round 1 2021
  3. Out: Oscar, Jones, ANB, Smith, Wagner In: Kozzie, VDB, Hibberd, Lockhart, Bennell

Played in the 2nds practice match last week so isn’t injured I’d be surprised if we saw him again this season. To me he has just the lacked physicality needed. Onto season 2021 with a solid preseason under his belt and hopefully we see the Harley of old.
  5. I think Zac Fisher from the Blues will become a good player and would be a good outside player for us. 22 years old. Is contracted to 2021. Would need to give up somebody to get him.
  6. So pleasing to win a game like that. Toughed it out and stuck to the plan May awesome. So pleased for him. Rivers will be a gun Nice goal by Weid in the 3rd. Liking what I am seeing from him Salem was clean tonight Also big shout out to Dougal Howard. Hold onto the ball as long as you like champ. Thanks mate
  7. Win this and we are ready to launch. I want to believe. Looking at the AFL season stats this week interesting to see we are ranked 14th in clearances and 18th in tackles (averages). I thought these areas were our one wood? Maybe our game style has evolved for the better! Dees by 29
  8. Petty can play. I like him in the backline, in current team takes Tomlinson spot. Hope we hang onto him. Can sense the Crows making a play for him as he is SA boy. This one could hurt us if he leaves.

Brayshaw’s kicking still worries me. In his first year I thought he was going to be an out and out star, not that sure anymore. We are currently playing AVB and Jones on the wing and we have Sparrow as a good inside prospect coming through. Brayshaw is contracted to 2022. If someone comes for him and we can get a good outside ball user we need to look at it. Offer must be good though. Also to note - 2 weeks ago he seemed to have little currency.
  10. The positive is we only meet one team that comes off a longer break than us - Freo has 5 days v our 4 into that match. All other games we either have the same break (Syd 5 v 5) or a longer break (Bulldogs 7 v 6), (Saints 7 v 6) and (GWS 5 v 4) Playing round 17 on Saturday you would think a 5 day break is a short as it will be for the round 18 match. If we stay fit cant see us losing one from here haha
  11. Maybe just get Pruess in? He can share the ruck with Jacko 50-50, 60-40 until he builds up. Think this is a better option than TMac. Assuming Gawn needs a few weeks off.
  12. Surely it is time for Preuss to play a few in a row. Give Max a month off.
  13. So its the Saints. Another strike for Tom......needs a new dart board
  14. Technically Weid is a good kick. I am sure he will be ok. Absolutely loved seeing the Weid mark tonight. One grabber to Spargo on the lead in the 2nd and used his body strongly for both his goals. Big step forward tonight for me. Always viewed him a double grabber but tonight massive step forward.
  15. In: Pickett, Rivers, Hannan, Jordon Out: ANB, AVB, Jones, Hibberd These changes improve our skill level and unless we do something here we are going nowhere
  16. Thinking it could have got ugly at 3/4 time. Glad we kicked the first in the last and a stress free last 10 mins. Oliver clear BOG, I’d have May 2nd best and Jackson was the real pleasing thing to come from tonight. The kid has learnt, hardly bodied up in the ruck and he is dynamic when it hits the ground. Swallow looks good. I think he will be handy. A lot of passengers tonight and our skills are still shocking for the most part. Need to get Pickett, Rivers and Hannan back in. And lets see how Jordon goes. We just need to play/find players with a better skill level. Otherwise we are going nowhere.
  17. No bombers? Surely they are involved in this also Off field incident and no bombers involved just doesn’t happen these days.
  18. Apologies if this has been mentioned.... How long did we actually hold pick 6 for? Was it all of 5 mins? I see it as it was - we traded Hogan for May. Freo traded pick 6 (Ben King) for Hogan. Write that one up Kane Cornes!
  19. Yes absolute Joke. I’d love to have Essendon’s draw thus far. Anyone would think they finished 17th last year. Doing all they can for them the AFL.

The Cats started 2-3 in 2007
  21. Good win I thought. Under massive pressure and Suns are actually quite decent. TMac injury was really challenging for us. Structure looked better just a shame we didn’t have 2 key position forwards all night. Weed did well as the only tall. Bennell is class and looked good tonight. We are desperate for his kicking skills. They kicked some flukey goals. Pleased they missed a few gettable ones. Also if you pay a down field free and the ball goes OOB the ball has to come all the way back. Umpires missed that one with the Rankine to Ellis goal in the 3rd. Commentators do struggle when they just commentate off the TV feed. Not sure why Gary gets so many Melbourne games. I’d rather he didn’t. Finally that ground is a cow paddock and not sure how it will hold up with all the extra traffic. Hope it doesn’t rain too much.
  22. Inside 50 last week Cats 50 Suns 29. GC bubble has burst. All three wins at home against quarantined sides. Playing away again Dees by 28 Weid impressive with 3 goals and some big marks
  23. Looks like the weather will be good for footy Dees by 39 Handgun Hannan 4 goals. Trac best on Cats to joins the Eagles and Tigers on the corona scrap heap.
  24. The inequalities in the draw (normal season) as far as the Dees always playing at Geelong and in Tasmania when compared to other Melbourne based clubs. What does the AFL say to the club about this? What does the club say to the AFL about this?
  25. In: Lockhart Out: Bennell Harmes to play a bit more through midfield to open up a spot for another backman to come in. Harmes could possibly tag Danger. Selwood is still the key to the Cats to me. I’d be sending Viney to him. Dees by 23
