  1. Given all the instability around the club, Kozzie is naturally the one who would be the most unsettled. Very young family and a long way from home (whether that’s WA or Adelaide or Darwin). Ever since the Trac stuff started, I was concerned about Koz
  2. Would love to hear how Goody really feels about this, it basically stamps his papers for the end of 2025. We won’t be able to rise from this mess due to fatigue and also lack of available talent. They clearly had planned to top up and go again, We might be left with no choice but to go nuclear
  3. Our midfield was already paper thin for 2025, now it’s going to be absolutely cooked. We’ll all watch Trac sit out the year and request a trade for 2026
  4. From a football club perspective, Oliver was playing up and being bratty, however he was only doing what 80% of 26-27 year olds do every weekend. Sounds like he was led down the garden path by others or at least not alone. What Trac did was a very different kettle of fish, he deliberately sabotaged a very large operation to suit himself. And I still think he’ll walk for 2026 anyway
  5. How ironic that Petracca will end up as the cause of a year of missed trades. Houston and Switta could have helped his cause a significantly more than Tom Campbell and Wade Derksen - I wouldn’t have wanted pick 5 used but I’m sure there was other ways
  6. Sure we do, although at the moment, I think Jimmy would offer a strong and different point of view to the leadership clique we currently have.
  7. Lacking some punctuation, sorry God! I’ve heard mixed things about him as a person, but purely from a football sense, I would strongly advocate for him.
  8. Would love to see this version of Clarry in 2025, he’s in good nick there
  9. I’d be a pretty strong advocate for him, have heard some mixed things about him as a person but he’s obviously been involved at a high level in multiple clubs. Think a role at Melbourne would suit him better than Collingwood, we are probably a little more in need
  10. Wonder what he’s worth? He got roasted in the media, post GF, for his effort. Wonder if pick 5 and Clarry pick(s) from Geelong would move the needle?
  11. If Oliver has straightened up throughout the year, as suggested, every club would be asking the question. He had a down year by his own standards but he’d still be comfortably in the best 50 players in the comp if properly fit. I’d prefer to keep Clarry over Trac, think the hurdles Clayton has to overcome are significantly less than Petracca, his brand and his family.
  12. Despite the long road back to competitive football, watching Harley Reid up close, each week, will be fun
  13. Another list spot is positive but he’s also done well to get to 199 games, that doesn’t happen by chance. I’ll take a PM outlining the famous offseason of 23/24 that I keep hearing about?
  14. SEN saying we are getting Nathan Bassett, so there’s movement in our coaching ranks for sure
  15. If we can address our midfield issues, Salem and Bowey can both become much more effective as they won’t need to be as defensively focused. It’s a big ‘if’ though, relies upon our top 5 pick having a spot on the ground from Round 1
  16. Very good game of footy. I wanted Geelong to win as the lesser of two evils. I also looked forward to seeing how Dangerfield’s tackle was assessed. The exact type of tackle that people have got weeks for this year and what the AFL want ruled out.
  17. Both of Jordon and Bedford are playing tagging roles, which Goodwin doesn’t employ. It’s not necessarily a fail, more that it’s differing tactics. I guarantee both of them weren’t recruited to be taggers by Sydney & GWS
  18. Glass half full - Christian is going to be working his butt of this pre-season to return to full fitness. Glass half empty - he’s doing it to seduce his 2026 team which won’t be us
  19. If I could pick any bloke in the league to grab for free, it would be Jesse Hogan but Finn would probably be close second. He’s got it all
  20. In simplistic terms, I think he’s a more versatile version of Sparrow. Sparrow gets a gig every week so Kennedy would too
  21. Carlton folk suggest Owies is a small forward that plays like a lead up forward - Basically a smaller version of Fritta. Doesn’t apply any pressure defensively or work well at the feet of their talls. I’d look at Kennedy for midfield depths for sure
  22. Finn Callaghan would be the absolute dream recruit, he does it all
  23. He was still on crutches in the last few rounds, surely he’s a long way off?
  24. I hope our club watched Jase Burgoyne do his thing last night, he’s the exact opposite of what we look for and he stood up in a final ahead of much more fancied and credentialed teammates.
