Well done on a great podcast... looking forward to the finals editions at least another 3 😁 My question is without melky in the side playing so brilliantly as a defensive forward who also kicks goals, could Joel Smith play this role as he has defensive capabilities and is talented up forward? I feel we really need this type of player forward as it's a weapon to be able to shut done the opposition intercepters.

Anyone know which area is best for Dee's supporters at away games, as in gate numbers or area to book?

This is playing out perfectly for us Goodwin did say early in the season he wanted more rotation through the middle, now the likes of Gus Kossi JJ can have significant minutes in the middle and Clarry can ease back in.. just hope he is absolutely fit maybe a half at Casey would of been better this week.

This has to be the most anticipated training session of the year. Clarry could be the difference in September.

We are blessed to have this bloke fly the flag for us every season, a truly inspirational captain... and by far the best ruckman of his generation... Hi guys well done on the podcasts each week, they are brilliant and insightful... My question for this week is do we take the opportunity to rest the big 3.. Max, Trac and Viney... considering we could rotate with Grundy, Dunstan, Spargo and still do enough to beat the kangaroos. These 3 are so important to our finals chances I feel it would be wise to keep them fresh and free of any niggling injuries going int September?

I've been supporting this club since the early 90s and this is by far the best version of the MFC I have ever seen.. from a stable board to a excellent playing list that consistently wins it almost fells kind of weird. And I guess some posters are just waiting for us to implode.. Simon to his credit is a strong Leader who is doing what he said he'll do at the start. Play a brand that wins finals. If he does or doesn't win another flag he has set a culture that will hopefully remain for a very long time

That's the way I goes, if JJ is next best for our midfield he would be stating mid at alot of other clubs, we can find more depth at the draft, you cannot always find superstars. Still rather keep him because he knows our system, however if he goes we will still have one of the best midfield in the game

Because we lost time in forward half this week we seemed to have more space when we did go forward and easier avenues to goal. Is there a flaw in our game plan that when we win time in forward half its to congested to score?

Our most important player come finals would need to be 110% for us to go all the way... not looking good. As they say injuries to key players at the wrong time of year☹️

I think all.we need is a tweak to the game plan, all we really need to fix is forward entries and get our forwards to spread out

We are wasting the best midfield this club has ever seen. Bad coaching or bad methods going i50? With trac It's all between the ears his almost trying to hard to be perfect he stuffs up the easy part of his game

Hasn't been the same since his suspension, lost confidence to go in hard

We will get run over in the second half, spent a lot of energy kicking points

We have to put these guys away in the second quarter can't give them a sniff..
