Learnings, Circa 2021.
Max Gawn is the best captain in the AFL James Harmes delivered the most sumptuous inside 50 kick of the year (century?) to set up Fritsch and kick-start the revival Christian Petracca produced one of the all-time great Norm Smith performances Luke Jackson is going to be some footballer Jake Bowey thinks this s**ts easy

Happy Halloween to the Cats

Only available space left is on the roof! Next year maybe you'll get a flag or banner up there- 13 victories shaping Melbourne’s 13th flag
I reckon the win over the Tiges on Anzac eve in Rd 6 should be higher than 11. Huge game in terms of generating belief in our system and ability to execute on a big occasion at the G. We beat Richmond at their own game. They challenged hard early, we were wobbling, but we steadied and won convincing in the end. They couldn't live with our intensity. First time i really started to believe we were genuine contenders. I have a soft spot for our Rd 1 win v Gold Coast 2015. First time i enjoyed a game at the G for a long time. Beautiful Saturday afternoon. First time i had a seen us score a coast to coast goal in an age as well. A real thing of beauty from Dom Tyson- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I agree..............but i'm not tired of the second half against the Cats in Rd 23. The last passage of play starting with the the ridiculous insufficient intent call against Brayshaw and finishing with the mark and after the siren goal from Maxy WILL NEVER GET OLD- Will a team improve enough to challenge us next year?
We may regress due to injury next year. We may not be as hungry. Not sure what Burgos departure means. It is possible we won’t perform to the same level Far more likely imv is our unmatched, and genuine differentiator, ruck combo of Gawn and Dogga will torment the opposition. No other ruck can stay with Maxy around the ground and Dogga is a fourth midfielder for us at centre bounces. Where most teams don't have one decent ruckman we have 2 stars. They are an unbelievable weapon All the youngsters will improve. Kozzy has more levels. Bowey is a beauty. Petty, Rivers, Sparrow, Jordan will get better. BB has found his feet. TMAC is the only player who may be past their best. We have competition for spots which will keep everyone on their toes. In terms of other teams I think the Swans are a genuine threat. Real talent on their list and very well coached. GWS if they can stay injury free (Big if). Doggies have genuine mental scars to deal with after the mauling they copped from us. Great midfield but no ruck, and very suspect defensively Tiges might have one last hoorah in them We’ll be favourites for the Flag and rightfully so. Yes teams will hunt us. That’s a given. But we can match anyone’s grunt and intensity. I reckon the only team that can beat Melbourne next year is Melbourne. But if motivation is needed to ward off any hint of complacency then we should remind them that they haven’t won a flag in front of the faithful at the G. I can’t think of a better motivator for this group than lifting the cup at the home of footy with all the fans there to enjoy and celebrate with. It was the only missing piece in any otherwise dream season for us this year I’ll think I’ll head to the bookies now and put my money on the Dees.- Jared Polec
Jared Polec is a great idea. Why not. While we’re at it we should ask Jonathan Patton if he’s interested in resuming his footy career with us as well.- Daisy Pearce - Coach?
Her insights are top-notch, she obviously understands the game but we don;t know if she'll be a good coach yet. Eventually a woman will break through and coach a mens team and I would love if it was Daisy- It is time BT is pensioned off

You've been making up for lost time I see- COVID & AFL 2021
I’ve been to the barber and eaten out once since restrictions eased. Both times I walked in off the street, no booking, wasn’t asked for my green tick. No obvious capacity management either. Compliance is loose at best from what I’ve experienced so far- MFC GF Celebration Coming in December
39 days to go- Mac Andrew
Has there ever been more posted on DL about a draft prospect who will not be coming to the club?- It is time BT is pensioned off
- Re sign Choco too
- MFC GF Celebration Coming in December
I'm pretty sure once the beer starts to flow the mask compliance will start to slip. Pardon the pun- Best team from the last 125 years
impossible task but i reckon Maxy gets a gig. 5 AA's after all. Trac and Oliver well on the way. Luke Jackson most likely after that if he continues to develop. Kozzy maybe- Mac Andrew
If you were to pick 2 clubs we would want him to go to it would be the Giants and Freo. Suns as well. Let them develop him for a couple of years before he comes home to us.- MFC GF Celebration Coming in December
Monday the 6th has been booked as leave. I'll be too hungover to work- The Grand Final Rematch
Don't care who we play, we fear no-one, but would much prefer an afternoon game so i can bring my boy (he'll soon be 7). He watched the prelim and granny with me which was the first time he showed any interest in the Dees. I would love if his first game he see live was the unfurling of the flag. Can;t think of a better way to cement his loyalty and connection to the team- We Could Have Lost Kozzy
Nev is a champ. Well-spoken, obviously intelligent. I hope he comes back to us in the future either as a coach or an Indigenous liaison role- The Grand Final Rematch
No way Maxy put mayo on it. Daniels is deceptively strong apparently Reckon Daniels could be the answer to the doggies ruck problems. Nic Nat better watch out nest season!- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Trac joked about it in an interview when the Daniel Gawn sling was mentioned. Said he told Gawn not be so soft or words to that effect. Gawn definitely over-egged it. - Flying the flag
