I am a firm believer that when the tanking word gets brought up every year, that its not the players that tank, its the selection committee, and game day coaching box that is tanking. I could not agree more with you that the players that put on the red and blue jumper sunday will be going 100%

I see your point, BUT if all those games are against teams "tanking" for better draft positions and he just cruises through and picks up a win somewhere along the road he maybe fooled into this false sense that this game is cruisy, but against the swans he is no chance to have that situation put to him

Just on Bate, i really think he struggles having the oppositions 1st or 2nd best defender on him, he needs a Robbo, Jurrah or hopefully Watts around him to be that 3rd forward option which he really likes

Too long for me to be bothered reading, but to answer your question i think the remaining games should be used to get games under young kids belts....Cheney, Spencer, Bail, Watts and the list goes on. We need to find out if there is a spot on our list for next season for Dunn, Valenti, Hughes, Mackenzie. So lets put the kids out there and let them have a taste of it and tell Brock, Bruce, Jones, Davey to get ready for next season

I say bring Watts back to find out what real tough football is all about against the swannies, then he will have a real idea of where he needs to get to for the start of next season

Would have loved to have seen more of Meesan and Spencer, we know what we are going to get from Russian and although i think he has improved himself he can not be relied upon as a stand a lone ruckman. Petterd has shown some improvement in a different position, and may have found his position But for mine the most improved is Frawley. I can't think of an opponent that has totally dominated him this season, big or small.

Any idea which kids are power forwards in this years draft that will be around the 18 pick?

you need players with polished skills to play like the doggies...something we don't have
