Is Justin Westhoff worth a punt? Rather than using our 2nd pick maybe on Butcher we give them pick 34 for him and take a punt, then being still able to take Scully and Trengove. I know he is not the big pack splitting forward that butcher has been described as, but he is big, mobile and knows where the goals are. Bailey may be able to do well with these players, as he was at Port for a while

It has come out that the hawks are prepared to trade their first pick (9). What will it take for us to get this? They are screaming for a backman and a ruckman. We probably have too many key position backs so maybe this is where we can get this pick. Rivers & pick 34 for pick 9? Imagine picks 1,2 and 9 WOW

thats the area i thought Scott West was really going to be a great inclusion for this club, but it just seemed to be the same old centre stuff from melbourne this year, considering the doggies are brilliant at the centre clearances and have been for a few years

who is your captain for next season? this is a tough excercise... will both our first draft picks be ready straight away? Is 4 talls down back too top heavy? Is our midfield too slow?

For long term purposes just give it to Scully..... :D

it won't be butcher we take at 2, the game has passed big gorillas out of goal squares and moved to quicker, smaller forward lines, and i think we will take Trengove and really bolster our midfield. Yesterday our forward line against the "hardest team to score against" scored easily enough i felt, take Robbo out and put Bate in, wonna in, Jurrah with a pre season and Watts with more bulk and our forward line will be dangerous enough

It will be interesting to see how he (jurrah) copes with being the new number 1 target for the opposition backmen next season, personally i think he will relish it

they are the perfect words for next season and beyond

for most of this season we did have Petterd, Green, Bate, Grimes and they made no difference at all. Maric and Watts were available for half of it also, not up to as yet. Anything above 7 wins is a bonus for this team next season and we build from there

i have no doubt there will be improvement next season, but to suggest we can make the 8 is just ridiculous. By saying that you are saying we will an extra 8 games on top of this season as much as we improve the rest of the league will also improve and we only get younger next season...think about it guys

He is a must get at pick 2. The more i read and see of him the more i am impressed. I believe we have the making of a developing forward line, the backline is settled and its time to get the elite midfield MFC have been dying for for years

for that to happen we will need to invest in a new fitness coach i think, evrywhere this Bohdan goes he stuffs the playing list up

He is only as good/bad as the cattle he has on the park, but in saying that i think he has been hard to judge in the past 10 weeks as i think he has seen the "prize" at the end if we don't win more than 4 games, he needs to be judged by next season ans i think he needs 6 - 10 wins to keep his job
